Moved and split by Sherlock enjoy your healthy debate lol...... Looks like a decent prospect and would slot nicely into our system...........in fact, looking at his range of passing, he could easily move into midfield to replace the outgoing greedy scotsman!

...and it's "Scotsman" with a capital, if you please.
Didn't you learn 'English' (literature) at school?

You're right there, Sher.
Footballer's agents are the bane of the game!
Burn 'em all to a crisp!

afraid we are going to have to disagree then mickyg but would he still be the Scotsman if he scored the winning goal tonight? plus we have not sold him yet.
looking at it logically we always knew it would happen and lets face it man u, chealsea, arsenal or spurs are not going to sign him So Scouse Scum then becomes a massive move for him.
Yes he is very important to us some say critical but then again so are the other ten guys that pull on a tangerine shirt every match day
somebody been playing with the censor words again I see

I shall remember him most for the season before IH arrived when in those few months of the season he contributed so much and galvinsed the team to save us from a certain relegation battle in the Championship. IH then had a battle from the May to August to secure him, I believe with funds from VB, but what puzzles me most of all is the fact he took the club to a hearing over a contract he thought the club had failed to honour and now he is prepared to break his own contract with the club.

All agents are parasites Sherlock but they still can't act without the players agreement......they're complicit in these dealings!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't KO turned down Charlie's transfer request?
Unless somebody comes up with an offer 'we cannot refuse' it looks like CA is staying with us until the foreseeable future.

I dont have a problem with Charlie Adam leaving - he will always be a legend to me. He has done his bit for our beloved Blackpool and he was always going to move on sometime; Oliie knew that when he bought him and we supporters knew that.
I dont think for one minute he is being greedy. He has the chance of a dream move to L/Pool. He wont even have to move house or away from the area. I will miss him but good luck to the lad.
Get off his back!

Correct YL. But then again, what is the point of keeping an unhappy player? However much I don't want to see him go, I think £8m plus add-ons and he will be gone by the end of January. For a Scotsman, a move to Mersyside is perfect. He won't want to go to London, as he would still be fairly close to his family if he lives in Liverpool. And City & Utd wont be in for him...
Anyway, time for Vaughan to now boss the midfield and take the limelight he so deserves. And step up Grandin, think this kid has wonderful skill.

I think he is gonna go just a matter of time but like Ollie says if the dont meet what he is worth he is going nowhere. Would it be worth keeping him for the full 18 months if we survive this and next season and losing him on a free ?
would love it if he has a stormer tonight and Fergie comes in with a proper bid and gazups (spelling?) the lot

Should be just headed "Charlie Adam" now? The latest I've heard is that with less than a week to go – five days now and counting down!, - until the transfer window slams shut, Looserpool are no closer to welcoming top transfer targets Charlie Adam and Luis Suarez to the club, despite the departure of Dutch forward Ryan Babel which will have freed up the wage bill somewhat. The Reds are unwilling to meet the valuation of both players and as the days quickly go by, it seems less and less likely that Kenny Dalglish will add to his squad during this month. Out of the two, Ajax’s Uruguayan striker Suarez would probably be the priority signing. For some time now, the Scouse Pool have been missing a quality forward to pair up with current star striker Fernando Torres. Suarez, who scored a staggering 49 goals in 48 appearances last season, would be a fantastic acquisition for the club, but reports suggest the Red's current offer for the 24-year-old is far from satisfactory. It is thought that Ajax would want in the region of £25million for the player, whilst L'pool have offered just half that amount. Blackpool’s influential midfielder Adam, currently on the Red's radar, but again the Merseyside club are unwilling to present the Seasiders with a more suitable offer. The Red's latest offer of £4million for Adam was rejected out of hand, as Ian Holloway believes his prized asset is worth far more than that. In the case of Adam, it remains questionable as to whether King Kenny's club would be willing to commit to such a risky deal - viz . 'first season in the Premier League syndrome.' ~ ~ "We were all over the place. His corner kicks are worth £10million in themselves…..” (Quote SAF after last night’s game). If that was the case, how much would the man himself be worth? !! ~ ~ Nice wee quote from Ollie: "He has helped put us where we should not be, Charlie will go down in folk history and I might even start carving a statue of him myself. Someone give me a penknife and some wood." YL.
