I guess everybody is a bit down in the dumps after today, but come on people we are Blackpool fans we will still do it and i stick by my earlier post of a few weeks ago that we will stay up by one point So we have the gunners next and looking around people are saying on other forums that we will get nothing from that game, but you never know with our boys. and lots of fans complaing about holloways selection etc. Just remember he and the squad got us here in the first place. all i will say is yeah so people know how we play big deal, lets play that way then and have some pace going forward. I thought we looked more like our old selfs against Blackburn but today we look lacking in pace. but i will always cheer on anybody that pulls on a pool shirt.. so chins up people and believe again

Well said, Sherlock. We're still not in the relegation zone, we have some games we can get points from, DJ is back next game, and we have been up and down more than a you know what's drawers this season. If we are still in the same position at the end of the season, one point above relegation, we'll be chuffed to bits. As for the criticism of Ollie's selection, how soon the fickle fans change their minds, they know nothing about what happens in training, who is carrying minor knocks, who's knackered. Got my 3 match package starting next Sunday, looking forward like never before to seeing the Mighty in action, and doing my little bit to help. Keep the faith my fellow Tangerines, IN OLLIE WE TRUST

I was devastated yesterday. My wife said she had never seen them play so badily but then she hasnĀ“t seen them play in the lower divisions very much. Today I feel that we can beat the Gunners on Sunday. I will back Ollie to the hilt, but not sure on Beattie. I do believe we will see premier league football at BR next year and the year after etc etc etc

Even if we lose against the Gunners, which we could well do and end up in the relegation zone i do not see it being a bad thing. It might be the motivation the players need to really turn it on again. Newcastle, Stoke, Wigan, Bolton at home after the gunners 7 points from them and we are on 40!
A Champions League distracted Spurs to play as well and then ruin Man Utd's celebrations on the last day with a CA Pen (before he then signs a contract with them!)
We might have a little bit more down to go yet, but then the only way i see is up!
I thought the foward line was fairly static against, Fulham with no movement on or off the ball. DJ coming back in to the squad with Puncheon starting and we will be a different prospect.
My one grip is Grandin! He always loses possesion way to cheaply, why do we not play Syleveste in his place.

Agree with the above post about Grandin, i've been saying all season his technical ability is unquestionable but what is, is his lazy balls, poor passing and finishing ability, if he loses the ball he doesn't want to bust a gut to get it back and will leave to another player, reminds me of Drogba at times. Anyway bad result yesterday granted but lets move on theirs still along way to go and their will be more ups and downs before the trip to OT. I have a genuine feeling we are going to upset the gooners next Sunday as thats what we do, lose to teams we think we might get something and win against teams the pundits think we haven't got a prayer. Keep the faith fellow tangerines, i said we would get 9 pts from april and we will and therefore safety. UTP

It is always great to come on here and listen to REAL Blackpool fans. Of course it was horrible watching the Mighty get beat yesterday without really shining at all but pikeypete put it all in perspective for me. I just hope that Mike Morrison doesnt get too critical in that fans panel they have in the Gazette this week. He is really starting to grate on my nerves, so much so that I wrote and told him what I thought of him which to be fair they printed. He in turn has had his say about what I wrote so its all square at the moment but I am watching you lad. Bring on the Gunners, DJ's gonna get yer! Cant wait, thats if I can remember where the ground is after all this time since the last home game.
