Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is hoping he can pick up a few tips from the world champions Spain to aid his own side's survival bid.
Holloway has made no secret his admiration for the Spanish footballing philosophy, particularly the methods adopted by the Spanish national team and La Liga leaders Barcelona. The Seasiders boss has used the break in the domestic programme to take in a trip to Spain to see at close quarters how it's done. Holloway has recently watched Spain's Under-19s train and will be in attendance at Granada tonight where Vicente Del Bosque's side take on the Czech Republic. Speaking to Blackpool's official website, Holloway said: "I'm going to have the privilege of watching them train and see what they do and how they do it. I want to go over before the end of the season and see what Barca are doing as well because footballers have got to be able to control the ball and pass it. "I like football played the Barcelona way, the way they close, the way they press, they way they keep the ball is an absolute joy to watch. Barcelona won't change for anything and I want us to keep doing that."
