nothing against Eardley, just believe Baps has been immense every time he's played this season
as for the traitorous bastard, I don't car if he's the best keeper we have, he can sit on the bench for the reserves and rot until the summer as far as I'm concerned

Totally agree with yor first para., April, re Baps.
McGilks - "...he can sit on the bench for the reserves and rot..."
- sounds like another DJ scenario...........
The only difference here is that nobody has come in for him or wants him!
YL.

I'd stick with the King, when he is good he is brilliant, absolute top class reflex saves. Mustn't forget that our defense is niot the best in ther league, and he think he gets a bit of stick cos he's left exposed (oooeer missus)
Think Eards has come a long way this season, but, when we are in the real dig deep and sweat blood end of the season, I'd stick with Baps, cos he bleeds Tangerine. For the same reason, I would expect Gnasher to make more appearances as a late sub.
Midfield Charlie and Vaughnie, not sure about the third spot, whilst still being positive, not sure about Grandin's ability to dig deep to get a result, Pie Man is not up to speed, Sylv ?? Quite like Yeni's idea of Punch, with another striker.
Up front, DJ every game till the end of the season if he's fit, with Reg and Punch tomorrow, GTF for the Wigan game (again, a blood and guts player with something to prove), Matty as impact sub around 60 mins.
This is one of the games that I really wanted to see when we got promoted, who'd have thought we'd be entertaining Arsenal at BloomfieldRoad, and looking for a team to get something. Best Trip X 100 !!!

Very brave selection yeni giving Saladin his first start against Arsenal.Though I agree he looked good in the reserves I dont think Crainey has done anything wrong to lose his place. I dont know what the situation is with Carney but if he's fit I'd be very tempted to go 4-4-2 with him on the left of a midfield with Puncheon on the right with Reg and DJ up front. If he's not fit sod it go muck or nettles 4-3-3 King Baps Cathy Evo Crains Charlie Vaughny Elliot Reg DJ Punchy The Gooners at Bloomers, your right Olde this is a game only a couple of years ago the men in white coats would have been taking you away if you had even suggested it. So to all those lucky enough to have a ticket, sing your hearts out, support the boys, enjoy the game and whatever the result keep the faith. The fat lady hasn't even started clearing her throat yet.

Kingson Baps Crainey Cathcart Evatt Adam Vaughan Grandin Varney Taylor-Fletcher DJ Subs:- Phillips, Southern, Halstead, Eardly, Sylvestre, Reid, Puncheon. The team is near enough the one thats done the most damage this season Matty and Punch to come on after an hour to scare the shite out of them and secure a 3-1 win. (I've put my money on it) Wouldnt let Gilks near a Pool shirt again. I did consider picking myself at the back Whits but my kit is still in the wash. I see the club and the players are trying to stir up the fans for more noise tomorrow so all of us who are going lets give it everything and get your neighbour at it too. UP THE POOL

Sandy, assume Cathcart would be in the back four? It will be hard enouth trying to beat Arsenal with 11 players let alone 10.
