Good spot, Ali. Take quite a lot from that, can I just advise those of a nervous disposition not to read the usual anti Oyston bile in the comments below, particularly Sandgrown'un, he'll only get upset. For the chairman who has taken us from next to bottom of the league to the top (remember that silly day at the start of the season?), he sure doesn't get any thanks.

I've never been the biggest Oyston an but cant argue with what he has done. I actually like that he has capped wages and just wish some other clubs had the bottle to follow suit.

Though pleased it appears to be confirmed that we will fill in the corner. I ask myself ,considering how long it took to build Jimmy's stand would it be ready in time for the new season? It will be nice for those in the shed to at last feel part of the "home" support though, and they may even get apie and a pint at half time!! Plus the cynic in me felt the comments about the undersoil heating and the training ground where a bit woolly. But I guess with Karl (the marmite chairman) you just have to wait and see. Agree with Olde re the comments from supposed fans,I can only assume they are too young to remember what it was the Oystons took on way back when. That or they are as thick as sh one t.

I would rather guaranteed undersoil heating regardless of where we finish this season, an extra 500 seats will be wasted in the Championship. not that I am saying I think we will be relegated of course.

I can confirm Karl has already got things under way no matter what happens, the foundations where put in place when they did the east and contracts are already in place for the building work and start dates.
you may ask how do i know this?
Very simple really my brother in law owns one of the construction companies scheduled to do the work and Karl is on the phone daily, mainly to try and get the price down lol.
but we finally seem to be planning ahead so well done Karl
ps please can we have the cheque lol
oh and its extra for the training ground dear Karl

Personally, I think he has to be applauded for how the club is run ( as a business ). Great news on the ground.

The one other thing the KO is that rarely gets mentioned, is that he is Lucky!
He took a punt on Grayson as he was already at the club and a cheap option, he turned out to be a half decent manager and laid the foundations for our sucess. From what i understand Ollie was not even on the radar for the job until a last minute decision got him the job.

On the Training Ground epic .. one of the reasons we have conceded so many goals in the last ten mins of games is that other premier teams are fitter than us .. if KO is serious about building BFC into a established EPL club then proper (ie on at least a par with other EPL clubs) is a necessity.

Why do we all say KO when its OWEN that pulls all strings. Karl is just dads boy doing what he's told, but he does help too.

If daddy was really pulling the strings we would have a lap dancing bar in each stand
