It is possible for us to lose at Man U and still stay up, equally we could win and go down, the permutations are almost endless.
If we lose and Wigan and birmingham lose we can stay up providing Brum lose be more than we and Wigan lose by no more than one goal less than us.
If we lose and one of the above doesnt happen we are down. If we lose and either Wigan or Burm get a point we are down. a Draw fo us and we are safe providing wigan dont win and Brum lose. however we could be safe if rovers beat wolves by 2 goals or wolves beat rovers by 7.
If we win then providing brum and wigan dont both win and improve there gd to be better than ours, If Brum and wigan do better our GD then we would still stay up if wovles and Rovers draw.
Think thats about it. Hands up who now has a headache

Put simply . . . . . when we beat United
Birmingham must beat Spurs by at least as many goals as we win by
AND
Wigan must beat Stoke by more goals than we win by
AND
Wolves or Rovers must win their game
We win and any of those three fail to happen and it's bring on the big boys again next season

Their will be more twists and turns on Sunday than me on the dance floor after a skinfull!!! It will change literally by the minute! I'll be honest i think this is how it will turn out, we will lose 2-1 at Man U, Stoke will beat Wigan 2-1 and Spurs will beat Brum 2-0 and Wolves and Bburn will draw 1-1! so this will mean West Ham, Wigan and Brum will go down and we will survive on virtue of goals scored. Hope this makes everyone sleep better ,keep the faith!

Put in terms that compute we cannot rely on Stoke as they have a tough mid-week game and their season is effectively over. They also have a few injury concerns. Wolves will either beat Blackburn or settle for a rather convenient draw. so we need to win....simple

I agree I can see a Wigan victory at Stoke but also think we will win at Utd just a question of who scores more. Its going to be a bonkers last day of the season i cannot remember one like it.
We could end up with West Ham, Wolves and Blackburn down, now that would be crazy.

Pointless fact as well
In 18 Prem League Seasons we would have had enough points to stay up in 12 of them (Including the 3 seasons with 22 teams).

Just want to go to sleep and it all be over. Nah, I dont really mean that, it is just so nerve wracking though. Pity the poor Hammers fans. What a shambles that great club is right now. I love the real clubs with real grounds and real fans and I was hoping there was a way they would stay up somehow. Cest la vie. One last push Pool

There are so many teams involved its hard to work anything out. If we get a win we should be fine. I just hope Birmingham and Wigan lose badly conceding some early goals to settle the nerves
