Oh for a little more composure in front of goal tonight we could have put ourselves in a great position to avoid the dreaded drop. The lads gave 100% to the cause and showed that they ARE able to play and compete at this level, if only one of the chances had not been snatched at! Anyway we have still got it in our hands as to if we stay up or not.

Went to the game yesterday, a tad worried that we would get beat but low and behold we gave a typical pre-xmas performance, full of energy and bags of grit. When Charlie first came tothe club he instantly motivated the team and from my observations I find that if he has an off day the team follows suit. Yesterday he was fired up and so were the team, his 2nd attempt at the penalty, that was some decision and put him under extreme pressure, showed how good a player he is. Very proud to see our team play at Tottenham, the way they played and the fantastic support from the Pool fans enjoying every minute of the game, lots of noise, great atmosphere. Another May date with Bolton, lets hope for the same result as 53 and another year in the Premiership.

my first and only trip to London on saturday, it certainly was a great game to watch, I had a great weekend only spoilt by Defoe. Why dont games last 80 mins instead of 45 we would be comfortably mid table if they did.
