Thank you ::
My Dad for leaving Manchester in the 50's
My Mum for having the sense to be born into a family that had it's roots in the Fylde for 1000 years
My brother for taking me to Bloomfield Road in 1971
The Oystons for buying Blackpool Football club, and turning the ground from a slum into modern 4 sided stadium
Uncle Val for some dosh when no one else believed
Simon Grayson for getting us to the Championship
Karl for having the bottle to employ an out of work manager, with a name as a gobby pundit
Lord Ian Holloway for leaving his native south west, and taking a chance on a small northern club at constant risk of relegation and no money
Our existing players for accepting new arrivals and a totally different footballing philosophy
Rangers for playing Charlie out of position, leading him to move away
DJ for proving all those bitter foxes to be talking bunk
DV for doing the hard stuff with little thanks
Gnasher and Brett for ignoring the boo boys and performing at unimaginable levels
Evo for his fury, I'd hate to be a striker near him!
Baps for being Baps, unsung hero
Crainey for his energy
GTF, Reg (that goal), Punch, Matty for giving their all, whether playing every week or not
Eards for that free kick
The King for some impossible reflex saves
Cathie for the goal against MANU
All the others for their contribution on and off the team and field
Thommo for being everyone's friend, and the calm island alongside Volcano Ollie
All the 606'ers who migrated to this board ( that's you lot) and xchanged hopes, fears, daft stories and complete bull with
Other club's supporters who have praised us, having seen our attacking style
Whoever invented the phrase "breathe of fresh air" (not)
The pundits who rubbished us for uniting us against them
Ollie, for giving our little old town the best trip, self respect, amazingly exciting football, a future, a set of memories I NEVER thought would happen in my lifetime.
WIN,LOSE OR DRAW, always Tangerine
