I am pleasantly shocked at the number taken up already considering all that has happened.
Its nice to see people renewing for the new season would be great if we could hit the 10k Mark would leave about 3,500 for general sale each home game.
Season tickets for the 2011-12 Championship campaign will go on general sale from 9am tomorrow.
More than 8,500 supporters have currently purchased a season ticket for the new season, while various applicants on a reserve list are being contacted throughout the day.
Supporters are reminded that season ticket cards will be reactivated for next season.

That's good news, it would be great to be able to get a ticket whenever I can make it, but still see B/R full for each game. Feeling really positive for next season, I think we'll retain a surprising player or two, and this time next year we'll be talking about Ollie's latest inspired buys and loans.

That's right Sher - later this month (June) I'm told when STs will have next season added on to the present ones. Got ours organised in January March when the brochure came out.
8,500+ to date is a really high number, considering we went down, but very pleasing all the same, together with the fact that there's more opportunity of obtaining tickets at home matches. (unlike those at the other end of the M55 - just over 2,000 is it?)
Reading that, though, there's no mention of the dreaded 'ticket packages' of last season. Anything?
YL.

Thank, Ye Olde. That means we'll be seeing more of you and BJC at F&B's of a matchday, then? YL.

Certainly hope so, matches on a Saturday at 15.00 would help, too!! First target is whatever the first home game of the season

its 2000 up on the year we won promotion so we have managed to gain which is good..
and no more ticket packages and rumors of bring back the voucher system for any big sell out games this year.
so the more you attend for those without a season ticket the higher you go up the pecking order when it comes to getting tickets for certain matches.

Sher: Could you explain what exactly this 'voucher system' is, as I've never been compromised by such a thing.
I've got a ST, but for sake of arguement, let's say I haven't:
Thanks, YL.

basically you save your tickets that you have bought and say towards the end of the season a big crucial game came up..
those with 16 ticket stubs get first chance to buy then 15 then 14 and so on, to ensure the people that have attended the most games through the season get first chance of a ticket

A few good summer signings at it can only get better
THERE is delight at Bloomfield Road – and relief too – that Seasiders fans have stuck by the club, despite relegation from the Premier League.
More than 9,200 season tickets have been sold so far – that’s compared to the 4,900 sold the last time Pool were in the Championship.
It is great news for chairman Karl Oyston, who feared many supporters might stop coming to games now the club has dropped out of the top flight.
Pool sold 11,000 season tickets for their Premier League campaign – so to have sold almost as many again with the start of the new season still two months away is a major boost.

Pete - "... Just hope that the expectation levels are too high and that the newbies remember that being a Pool fan will have its ups and downs." Surely you mean "..expectation levels are NOT too high..." ? YL.
