Sometimes we do make things difficult for ourselves with agents and possible loan players for the forthcoming season, but then again it would not be Blackpool if everything was straight forward. Karl may i make just one suggestion, Get a new legal team because they are now played 2 lost 2..... Former Blackpool loanee Marcel Seip has been awarded more than £70,000 in damages after a court battle with the club over an unpaid promotion bonus. Seip played seven times for the Seasiders whilst on loan from Plymouth during the 2009-10 campaign, during which they won promotion to the Barclays Premier League. The Dutchman also scored twice during his spell with the club from September-December 2009 and has now successfully contended that he was entitled to a promotion bonus. Blackpool were awarded £5,15million following their successful campaign but excluded loan players who had left the club from their bonus distribution after interpreting contracts differently. Seip has won his case and been awarded £72,206 plus legal costs and interest. The club were involved in another dispute with captain Charlie Adam last season. Adam claimed he was not paid a bonus due for avoiding relegation - also in the season they won promotion.
