Elliot Grandins agent gave this interview to French newspaper L'Equipe. Stating his player wants to leave.
should have checked the small print mate he has a year left and a option of another on top
Here is a rough translation of the whole item, it also mentions Sylvestre leaving
Elliot Grandin will not carry any more the colors of Blackpool. L' former Marseillais, 24 years, wishes to rebound elsewhere after an end of delicate personal season, marked by the wounds and nonthe selections in the pro group.
The relegation of Blackpool at the time of the last day completed to convince the Resident of Caen, arrived to Seasiders in January 2010 and with which it remains one year of contract, plus optional.
Author of 23 matches this season (1 goal) in First League, Elliot Grandin would see himself well remaining in England. But of the Italian clubs are also on the rows.
Three English and Italian teams are interested, his agent told us.
They are not teams which will a European competition, but it will be always better than Championship football.
A French club of League 1 had proposed a loan deal with option to buy but grandin refused this.
A decision is expected at end of june and Sylvestre is also expected to leave.
Now i can not see Karl letting this happen it would be 2 players to many.

This really grates on my nerves, players these days want all the limelight, are happy to take home bag full's of money and show no respect or loyalty to the club that employ them and give them security of contracts, which they should honour and not short change the fans who pay their wages. Both knew when they signed what may come at the end of the season, now they just want to jump ship. If i'm honest both Grandin and Sylvestre are decent players and with them committed , could have a big say next season. Don't be bullied Karl and for f**k sake please no clauses in those contracts PLEASE!!!! Rant over.................................tbc.....................

Something along the line of "French surrender monkey's" springs to mind. If its true he doesn't fancy the Championship, tough your under contract son,and contrary to what your agent is telling you I dont see any Prem clubs coming and banging your door down.Oh and you can pass this message on to Ludo if you want!

Interestingly the two players that will probably stay in the prem are the very same who are behaving in a professional, low key, way. If you're good enough they will come knocking. No need to hype yourself up! By definition he, therefore, isn't. Bit of a lightweight IMO

ollie better get the cheese and wine out because these 2 are important for the coming season in the championship and dropping down will show them in a better light. Maybe its the fuel bill for the 2 gas guzzlers they run that is the problem a 4x4 merc and a 4x4 audi

Fuck em all!! If you dont want to play for Blackpool fuck off and good riddance.
A lot of these players took us to the Premier League but the same players also took us down to be fair.
I just wish some of the players would look where they came from and count their blessings,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, eh Mr Gilks.

Not sure whether a contract in football means the same as in the real world. I think it's more of a fluid sort of thing, those who break yours are evil and should immedietely be taken to court, if you break it, that's because you have to make the most of your talent in such a short career. The only contract which is unbreakable is that of a Blackpool Football Supporter, win, lose or draw, Premiership or 2nd Division, I am, have been, and always will be, Tangerine
