That's very sad news, where is he off to?
Wish him all the best and a big thankyou for what he contributed to the team.

Strangely there's no mention of another club, just that he would like to stay in the Prem. He seems to have put his cards on the table a bit early but we're not privy to behind the scenes stuff. Hope he gets plenty of offers.
All the best David. I'll have to change my favorite player now!
Can we have some good news soon please!

Much as I agree with others about Vaughan and how he has been a great and consistent player for us since he came and of course I wish him all the best at his new club - whoever it is,,,but, isnt he ANOTHER player who the mighty Pool rescued from obscurity when his career was going nowhere? Real Sociedad if memory serves me right.
I cant help it but I get a teeny bit pissed off with players these days. Maybe it is because as a fan my loyalty is total and I admit I do have a very unrealistic expectation from players to show something similar. I know it is a short career, etc etc etc etc but it still rankles when players leave for greener pastures which only occasionally ever are.
Apparently Blackpool made him a very good offer to stay which even the player admitted was fantastic but he is leaving because he wants to stay more high profile to keep his place in the Wales team. Hmmm,, really? If you say so Mr Vaughan. Whatever!
Good luck with Wales David, something tells me you are going to need it.
UP THE POOL

Best start a new thread, then, if we're going to discuss Grandin:- that's a new one - when was the last time he was mentioned on th' board? ...and what's he & his agent supposed to have done (or said) now? YL.

Sorry Sandy but I just wish him all the best. The media are just printing blah, blah, blah as nothing else is happening. It's hard to take, as a fan ,when your star players move on but we've all been here before. Believe me you won't give him a second thought once he puts on a Sunderland/WBA shirt. You'll just care about the next lucky player given the chance to play with Ollie at Bloomers. Just wish we had some clues as to who it might be..........the tensions killing me. As I said before there is a stack of talent out there and Ollie has a knack of finding it . don't worry........
