Dilemma

Now we are are mostly experienced adults, with a lot of history behind us. We have all achieved success in our business lives, and value the rational, alongside the emotional
My dilemma is this. When I have worn my "holloways tangerines "In ollie we trust"" shirt, we lost (Arsenal and Wigan) When I left it at home ( Bolton) we won.
Now logic says that that one little supporter wearing an item makes asolutely no difference, but the emotional side says " Yeah, but can you take the chance?"
Advice please, compadres, are you superstitious?

Di and Emma - lovely girls both of 'em......... I believe you answered your own question. Personally, I wouldn't take the chance, to be honest. Wear the 'Wembley' one if you have it. Psychologically, it's a boost for this season - we're going back to Wembley. YL.

I personally persisted with my "lucky"shirt all season but in the end I'm afraid it is now in the gardening tops section! I have now got some new rather fetching tangerine socks ready for the new season the only problem with that is I also believe that you cant wash your lucky top, socks scarf whatever,as it washes the luck out. With a lucky top not so bad but lucky socks!!!!!

YeOlde, looks like I am alone on this one, I don't believe in mumbo jumbo, the fact I walked under a ladder this morning and then fell off the flaming thing this afternoon, was down to my own stupidity rather than some old wives tale. Having faith in the team should be enough, assuming we have one of course, however there will be matches we will lose however good a season we have. Wear the colours, be not afraid, we will rise again, up the Pool.

I take it you still have your very recognisable top, Whit? Having no doubt had a good look at the forthcoming season's fixtures, - when are you going to announce that you'll be taking in a couple of games at Bloomers.........? YL. p.s. Knowing my luck, you'd probably make it when I'm away..

I have put the Wonga shirt away as i really don't like it. I will go back to selecting a random tangerine top for each match lol

Hi Yeni, well for temps of 60f or more it's the Home Tangerine shirt pre Wonga and below 60F the Tangerine jumper. I take it your away still in August and that month will be going to Brighton and Palace and SEPT at Portsmouth. Home wise aiming for the Ipswich game, so presume you will be back for the 10th Sept. It's now over £100 for the return trip now before ticket and food , cheaper to get to Paris.

All things considered, there's only two games I am able to get to:
.v. Rangers (if I can get a ticket!) . . . . . . . home .v. Ipswich - as you summise.
and nothing in between.
YL.
p.s. Probably take our 'Wonga's and wear them when we go to the Stadio San Paulo, Olimpico, Arena Garibaldi, San Siro even...

Lou, I think that's what probably worries me, rationally. Looks like it will be staying at home, thanks for all the advice.
