Accrington Stanley have signed former Blackpool defender Danny Coid on a free transfer.
Coid left Blackpool earlier this summer after seeing out his contract at Bloomfield Road.
The 29-year-old, who had a spell on loan at Rotherham last season, has signed a one-year deal at the Crown Ground.
Coid was happy to make the move to the League Two club after admitting Accrington's style of play played a big part in his decision to move.
"I'm really pleased to be here," Coid told the club's official website. "The style of football that they play was a big attraction. I watched them in the play-offs and saw some of the goals they scored on the telly which showed me that they had a good team.
"A few people recommended for me to come here and the setup is similar to Blackpool's so I'm used to that."

Good luck Coidy, hope it works out for the lad and he can spend a bit more time on the pitch and not on the injured list. Was a teriffic player for us in the lower leagues and if it hadnt been for injuries I'm sure he would have gone a lot higher, seem to remember Everton a few years ago sniffing round after him?
