Just one thing just how have Liverpool agreed anything with Charlie or his bloody agent???
Karl has said no official bid has been accepted or made for that matter.. Which means if any talks have taken place it is against FA and Premiership rules regarding making approaches to players...
We know he will leave but effectively he can still be at bloomers for another 2 season with the activation clause in the contract so no real rush to push any transfer through..
You might be one of the oldest and well know clubs Liverpool but we will not be bullied and if you get on the wrong side of Karl its going to be a long summer
personally 10 million and 2 players of ollies choosing should they have any that he wants would suit me and not on loan either.
Oyston has confirmed that discussions have been held with a number of clubs, and hinted that Adam had been approached without his club’s permission.

To get £10 million for Charlie is good business. If he was worth more than that he would have been snapped up by Chelsea, Man City et al. I know some of the players being sold at the moment are going for more but do we really know how good those players are compared to Charlie. We know Charlie inside out but we havnt seen Henderson etc to the same degree to make comparisons. £10 million - snap their hands off Karl and find another gem. Its the way of the football world guys. Life goes on and so does Blackpool Football Club with or without Charlie Adam. Thanks for the memories Charlie but you are history once you take off that Tangerine shirt. You will always get polite applause though should you ever play against the mighty Pool in the future. Always be a legend for stamping on Richie Wellens head in your first game and that winner against the knobbers at Dumpdale. UP THE POOL

Wellens rears his ugly head again! I don't know what it is with you and me, Sandy, but we seem to be only ones who revel in that scenario! Morbid or what? Well said, by the way. YL.

Totally agree sandy lets do the deal and move on,because in the grand scheme of things I'm a lot more interested in the players arriving than those leaving. Charlie will always have a place in my memories for as you say,I cant think of a quicker way for a new player to get onside with me than stamping on that fat prick Wellens head.

Manchester United boss Ferguson is set to go head-to-head with old rival Dalglish and join the race to land Adam.
Adam scored against United at Old Trafford this season and impressed Fergie with a string of stand-out displays for Ian Holloway’s relegated team.
The Seasiders are in no rush to flog Adam and chairman Karl Oyston will not let his prize asset go un- less it is the right deal for them.
But Fergie is convinced he can outmuscle Liverpool because he can offer the 25-year-old higher wages.
Fergie has already beaten Dalglish to the signing of Blackburn’s Phil Jones.
He will turn to Adam because he fears losing out to Chelsea in his bid to sign Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder.

Personally, I believe Charlie will be more suited to United's style of play than Looserpool's, and he'll feel more at home too - Fergie's Rangers whilst KD is the Great Unwashed-inclined. Though he would also be ok at Spurs. YL.

The Blackpool midfielder is available for £9m after the Tangerines’ relegation to the Championship and Villa are ready to revive their interest after McLeish’s appointment yesterday.
They were linked with a swoop in January and asked to be kept informed of developments with Liverpool also keen on the playmaker.
Reports suggested big spending Liverpool had entered into preliminary talks with Blackpool this week but sources close to Adam insisted he is yet to directly speak to any club.
McLeish gave Adam his Rangers debut in 2003 and he made 86 appearances for the Scottish giants.
The 52-year-old then handed the midfielder his Scotland bow in a 1-0 win against Austria in Vienna in 2007.
Blackpool are ready to cash in on the 25-year-old – whom they bought from Rangers for £500,000 in 2009 – despite triggering a 12-month extension to his contract in May.

£9m, i read somewhere Man Utd were ready to hijack Liverpool's bid by offering £15m. I suppose we will never now exactly what's going on till it's done and dusted. Man City if you want him it's £50m and we'll throw in Gilks!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard Aston Villa are ready to bid £12m for Charlie, but i'd rather take the £15m thankyou and have him go to a top club in Utd. Will suit his play better at Utd and to be honest if we are getting that kind of money i only want the best for Charlie after the memories he's given me. If he goes to AV he'll become stale especially with big Eck in charge. good luck Charlie where ever you end up, you'll always get a good reception from me at Bloomers or where ever.

Not sure whether Big Eck was one of those who played him out of position, and farmed him out to the likes of St Mirren, though.
Like I've said on a couple of other threads - with good reason, his best bet is to go to United.
YL.

From the gazette
LIVERPOOL are set to make a fresh move for Blackpool’s Charlie Adam.
The Gazette understand that the Reds will table a bid of around £10m over the weekend.
Liverpool’s Director of Football Damien Comolli is scheduled to hold talks with Karl Oyston and both parties are hopeful a deal can be struck.
Aston Villa, managed by Adam’s former Rangers boss Alex McLeish, are also expected to bid and long term admirers Manchester United could yet make a move.
The 25-year-old has one year remaining on his contract at Bloomfield Road.
Please can we just get ths deal done so that maybe we can move on and get some players in. The squad is due back in 2 weeks and it would be nice to have some young fresh faces in it by then

Just someone give us the bloody money so we can move on. Personally I'd rather he went anywhere but to the manc scum but if they want to give us £15mil see you later Charlie, just wouldn't be able to give him any kind of support as he would be signing for the only other team apart from the nobbers that I cant abide.

I honestly dont mind where he goes hope a bidding war breaks out and we get a couple of mil more than expected. Then like said above we can look to build a new midfield.
Has Pratley from Swansea signed for anyone yet or a new contract to stay ?
