Now come on Karl if we willing to bid 800,000 whats a extra 200,000
Blackpool are weighing up whether to increase their offer for striker Mathias Ranegie having had an £800,000 bid turned down for the Swedish international.
Ian Holloway has been desperate to boost his strike-force having sold Dj Campbell to QPR.
And he has set his sights on the BK Hacken frontman, who is the top scorer in Sweden with 17 goals in 21 games so far this season.
Ranegie, who stands at 6ft 4in, is thought to be keen on the move but BK Hacken are likely to want nearer £1m for the 27-year-old.

Never heard of him but his record shows he knows where the goal is but then what standard is the league in Sweden. Having said that there has been a few good players from Sweden

I think the way forward for the club is overseas shopping for players as you stand a chance of getting more for your money. the prices in the uk are just getting out of hand, for example Puncheon is not worth 2 million but thats the asking price because they know QPR are interested so the price has gone up by 70%. I know for a fact we enquired about a championship player who's value on the transfer market was 100k and was not even a first team player but when we asked, the price was suddenly 500k as you can imagine we took it no further. too many clubs in debt up to their eye balls so when a club comes calling the prices go through the roof. if nothing else we seem to have stopped the silly offers so maybe Karl is learning they want a million so our first offer is 800k which has to be a step in the right direction as normally our opening offer would have been 300k

If Ollie thinks he can improve the team, then i think Karl should back him and pay the asking price. If he can make the step up to Championship level, he could form a good partnership with K.Phillips, both have good goalscoring records albeit at different levels but the little and large combination ala Quinn and Phillips at Sunderland could be a good one. We need a goalkeeper, winger and 2 strikers before the window slams shut in a week. The strikers situation is worry me as i think Phillips apart, Sutherland needs time and Billy looks out of his depth,so that pretty much leaves Brett, before i get shot i know it's early days and i'm not having a go but it looks pretty thin at the mo.

I agree about Billy maybe he is just trying too hard but i Really want to see ince start a game on the left we have brought these young players in on 3 year contracts and with only behind close door matches for them to get some game time and being out of the carling cup we nee to give them a game when we can.
I really do have high hopes for ince he might get knocked of the ball at the moment but the only way he is going to learn is to play.
