Not a match report, I'll leave that to others far better at it than me, just a few thoughts.
Odd game, full marks to Derby for sticking to their game plan.
No one played badly, just no final spark. I do like the passing, it just needs to be more aggressive, and I struggled to see who was supposed to be taking it forward. As far as I could tell, Baps is now an out and out winger, Evo calls the shots from the edge of our own penalty area, and Hill is a CB. The Beeb's possession percentage was pants, at 50 : 50, more like 70:30. Cracking shot from Derby that hit the bar, Gilks a bit rooted
Some very poor refereeing, prior to their free kick, the ball was out of play twice in front of the empty seats, and the lino didn't call it.
Dunno what they are feeding Gnasher, seems to be a different player this season, moving forward and having a go, GTF probably the pick of the attack for me. Grandin, jury is still out, some good passing, but when near the opposition box, leaves 50:50 balls, needs to grow a pair. General Terrier tackling. My first view of Phillips K, can see what he has got, needs time for his colleagues to see what he is going to do, couple of great layoffs to no one. Ferguson was a bit anonymous for me, I guess cos he is more defensive, and Derby did very little?
The basics of passing and possession are there, the defense looks better at this level, but I'd have loved to see a Marvelous Marlon in the Derby box last night, I really hope Ollie has got a big prescence joining us by the end of the month, Sutherland and Ince, great skills but too easily pushed off the ball. Maybe Matty linking with Baps to get to the byeline.
WE NEED SOME GOALS
Crowd needs to keep working on their fitness, too, faded badly towards the end!! LOL
