It never ceases to amaze me, and many others, no doubt, how far-flung Seasiders are. For example, we have 'Barcelonatangerine' who resides in sunny Spain, and of course 'Brazilseasider'. (Not stuck out in the Selvas, I hope). In addition, we have 'Canadapool' who, I believe, is a member of a thriving 'Pool Supporters' Club in his part of the Old Empire. Then we have another colleague in South America – 'Colombianseasider' and one in the Middle East being 'bfcgulf' - handy for the next but one World Cup, I'd say. One of my favourite Med islands is the home of 'cyprusseasider'. Akrotiri is it, or Dhekelia? Only about 150 miles as the crow flies from me in Alanya. A bit nearer home, in the Channel islands, is/was the abode of 'Alderneytangerine' and 'farnorth' who resides amongst the heather on Royal Deeside. And 'Europapool' ? Where are you? 'Hamburgseasider' has got to come from up near the Danish border. 'kingscote kiwi 66' going by his moniker, must take the prize for being the furtherest-away from home ground. Hope you get some opportunities to see the 'Pool- on TV at least, friend. One of our New Members must live near to 'kiwi' given his nom-de-plume of 'ozseasider' – another without a live, regular, tangerine fix? Then there is me, having to put up with the fun and games of camel-wrestling for part of the Christmas festival. (or Efes for the memainder of any stay in Anatolia). Of course, there are a few others who are in the forces overseas, or live abroad, but are not identifiable by their profile names, as are those based in the UK, one at RAF Watton near Norwich, if I remember correctly. So, let's hear from you if you're away from those shores, what's your work where you are, make us jealous of the weather you're having right now – it's pissisting cats and dogs here in Blackpool at the mo'.was yesterday, but quite sunny & warm today. Anyone reside on the African or Indian continents, or in the Far East? YL. p.s. Corrections and additions gratefully accepted/invited.

Milton Keynes yeni........ It's full of sh*ty wine bars and overpriced foreign restaurants with a bucket load of pi*sing roundabouts. A new town that's trying to copy the US grid system!!! If you want to find a proper BOOZER or anything that resembles Blackpool as a town, you need to go to the surrounding areas of Bletchley, Stony Stratford or Wolverton. It's ok but your not missing anything Yeni!!!! have to travel 400+ mile round trip to watch a decent football team and get a decent pie and pint!!

Correct Yeni, I did live in Channel Isles but now live in very very sunny Spain. Not many Tangerines in sight, but did meet Louise for a few hours in Torremolinos. Ted, my Mum and Dad lived in Cleveleys for about 13 years (near The Sandpiper pub) until she passed away and then he moved back to Alderney.

Live in a craphole of a town that thinks it's a shitty near Longridge
Born and raised near Stanley Park, moved to Cleveleys in my teens & parents still there
fluctuated between Cleveleys & St Annes before migrating along the M55 via a rather circuitous route (Arizona & Hampshire)
Work for the government until my photography business is making enough to quit the day job
Currently looking at relocating to Clitheroe, Garstang or Kirby Lonsdale

not allowed to call it the dub anymore the incomers don't like that word, makes them sound to much of a local. I think they are trying to get it renamed a lake!!! they to busy kicking of about the named site of the new kirkham football ground, watch those house prices fall The wicker man only got out of hand once FIRE AT WREA GREEN .--On Thursday morning, at Wrea Green, a fire broke out, between five and six o'clock, at a house belonging to H. H. Hornby, Esq., and occupied by Ellen Dagger. It is one of four cottages near to the Manor House. When perceived the thatch was all in a blaze, and the chimney was on fire. The time was, however, a fortunate one. The various workmen were just crossing the green to their daily labour, and a goodly muster of able and willing hands were soon on the spot, and got the fire out with little loss. A quantity of thatch, spars, &c., were burned but the fire did not get into the house. The origin of the fire is not yet known, but Mrs. Dagger bakes oat cakes for various families, and uses a great quantity of turf, and it is supposed the chimney has become overheated, and so communicated with the timber and the thatch. The exertions of Mr. Cookson and his men, the men at the villa and the neighbourhood, throughout deserve the highest praise. A ditch was near at hand, well supplied with water, and this being judiciously applied, no doubt saved the whole row of cottages.

My apologies for late replying to the original thread, I was on vacation at the time.
Currently in the Middle East, have been in this area for seven years.
Left Blackpool and the UK nearly twenty years ago in search of treasure and better weather.
Found better weather at least.
There is only one thing I miss, 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

Dubai is my home at the moment, has been for nearly seven years.
Had a look at the fixtures and I would suggest I will be at the Birmingham game.
I did make the Wolves away game last season, whilst the result was s::t the day was
amazing.
That was the first Blackpool game I have watched since 1992.
