Tks Sandy, might just see you at So'ton, I thought you had special treatment there last year for the FA cup game, or perhaps I was dreaming it. Last visit to Portsmouth we got beat 2-1by a last minute goal, think it was Terry Sherringham, they were Premier we were div 2, in the McMahon era, Harry R was their manager, just hope history dosn't repeat itself.

lol,,, no you werent dreaming Whits. I went to Southampton last season and had a royal time apart from the result.
I still keep in touch with many associates and companies that I did business with before I retired. I nurtured and enjoyed a great working relationship with many of them and consider them my friends so consequently I still get invited along to various functions. Golf days and football matches are the usual fare.
I am going to Southampton for the weekend with the chap who took over my job when I retired. A corporate box and a hotel thrown in. Smashing. Much prefer the terrraces but its nice to do it this way now and again.
My grandson starts at the University of Leeds today and I will miss him terribly but by a stroke of luck I have another invite to the Leeds game in November. It means I can meet up with him there and take him along as the invite also extends to him and his dad. Happy days.
I will get in touch nearer the time for the Saints game Whits and hopefully meet up for a pint.

Look forward to that Sandy, best wishes for your grandson at Uni, if he has half of your determination to succeed he will do very well.
