After reading that it makes you think and feel alot better about things. If you think 2 seasons ago we would have been happy staying in the championship by 1 point and struggling but what may have been a freak season where we managed to get to the prem has raised the level of expectation which is natural. Just take a minute to remember the dark days where we would struggle in league 1 where we were all happy enough to support the team.

Hear hear
Been spreading positive vibes on AVFTT for weeks, got a lot of abuse, then you get a thread of lots of positive supporters, hope our Ollie reads those as well.

Ollie's right, lets get a sense of reality and realism, 10 years ago i was stood in a shed with rain pissing down my back at Barnet and getting thumped 7-0. Last year we were playing the elite and in the best league in the world, yes i know where i'd rather be, but as a club we operate within our means and i'm happy with that, we've improved on and off the field and taken massive strides in the right direction under Ollie and yes i'm optimistic as a fan good times will come but everything takes time and some supporters need to realise that and just ride the train that is our club and see where we stop next because being a Pool fan ain't just for christmas or 1 season it's for life and this is THE BEST TRIP YOU'LL EVER BE ON!!!!! Relax..........

off the top of my head I can think of 4 era's that were "feel good factors" since the early/mid 80's I'm sure someone will tell me I'm wrong but the 4 I'm thinking of are the Billy Ayre/Allardyce era from the early 90's then Steve McMahon era The Grayson era and obivously Ollie era.

Its probably cause half the fans have never been to a division 3 match on a freezing Tuesday night half knowing they were going to lose but still had that hope of pulling off a win. Think most are expecting to win every match now

I wonder if they would be happier if we could go back to the days of Billy Cartmell

When it was mentioned again, Lou put the links up to here. The last other proboards one had died a death, Sherlock has made it look easy, but it obviously isn't.

its a pain to get started believe me, but once you start to read and learn a bit of code its not to bad. I am just dreading the update they are planning on launching as i for one don't like it along with about another 2,000 people but sadly 14,000 people do.
all i know is on the test version everything keeps crashing

Oh Dear...just read the comments from shers link. This storm of hatred never seems to end. Are we bankrupt, struggling to survive, not getting new talent in....no. Whats the problem. we could still go up this season!
Give it a chance, take a chill pill, and everything will be OK.

Most of those comments are disgraceful. Cannot believe real fans can slate the best manager we have ever had. Why are they having a go at the players that we have got. Maybe, in their ignorance, they would like some of the players that are supposedly Englands best that were on show last night. Perhaps replace Ollie with Capello. I think not. Grow up. UP THE MIGHTY POOL. I am glad that I don´t read AVFTT.

That´s exactly what I mean. Support Blackpool or sod off to preston. But stop slagging off the team that I have supported all my life.

That is probably where they have come from they are probably the same fans who were watching Preston when they were where getting in the play offs almost every season. As they went down hill we got to the Prem and they thought it was time to switch clubs lol

Too many fans think that they own the club. Reality check, no you don´t you pay at the gate to be entertained, end of. Fans who pay to watch Robbie Williams don´t own him. Why do some people think they own Blackpool FC. No one but the Oystons wanted to know 10 years ago. Please support the team the way they deserve and give Ollie all the backing that he obviously needs before we lose him.

very true alderney, but i think a lot of fans forget that te oyston family have now been involved and run the club for over 24 years, now thats shows its not just a cash cow as some fans seem to think.
