Dear Manc
I understand you are having dificulties with one of your players who doesn't like playing football in Manchester due to the lack of restaurants, and general facilities on offer at your club. I may have a solution.
For a small fee we can offer your player on the job training where after only a short period of time he will be returned to you like a new man. He will be trained in boot cleaning, washing up and laundry duties during the week. For this he will receive a living wage of £6 per hour. Not only that but he can have a day off each Saturday when he can play football for our team. This will be free of charge to yourselves but would ask for subs of £3.50 to cover lunch expenses. He will love our speciality "beans on toast"!
I feel sure we can instill a sense of realism in no time at all and am confident he will look at his role in your organisation in a completely different light.
Let me know
Karl

I don't think a living wage and £6 per hour would mean much to a footballer.

Apparently the deal failed due to the quality of the beans.
Tevez wanted Heinz and KO only offered Lidl.
