Get your thinking caps on. Well that was a 5 star performance without doubt, can't wait to see the highlights later, must have been somethng else watching that free kick go in. I take it our new midfield player had an explosive impact on the game, as you know in my mind that was our top priority, so well done the team and IH of course, best he stays in the stands for future games. I will give you a clue, GTF scored two of the 5 goals that day.

was a good game in parts mainly the second half. yes jonjo made a difference but in the first half we were not great by a long shot but got better second half.
But you could feel the pressure released by the time the 4th goal went in and seemed to lift everybody just what we needed before the international break

Sherlock, surely the 2nd goal, the freekick must have releaved the pressure. Not entering the quiz then?

To me it was the 3rd goal. Been a Pool supporter too long to think the game was won at 2-0. Great game for the fans. Nervy 1st half but 2nd half we looked great going forward. Gilks's save was crucial but it was great stuff all round. Cherry on th top for Incy and boggy too. Those getting an early bus missed out big time ha ha Shelvey is just class and was dominant all day. Wanted the ball all the time and distributed well. Can't wait to see that goal again later. GTF on a purple patch looked the biz but unfair to name a few. Great team effort. Off for a few swifties now! Whit are you thinking Swansea?

Well done April, my short term memory loss is becoming a real problem, probably age related, anyway will be looking forward to our next encounter with the Hammers.

Shelvey, considering how little time he had with the team, sounded though he settled in very well, very pleased Bogy scored and having seen Ince play a week ago for most of the Portsmouth game, the more he plays for us the better I am sure. The likes of M Phillips and Sutherland need match time, shame about the reserves, but some of the old guard Gilks, Crainey, Evatt, Baps, Brett, Southern and GTF, are still about and playing better than ever. One of the most positive points this week, no last minut goals against us, in fact the opposite, last Saturday thinking it was all over at 0-0 then seconds from time and oh dear, that ruined the day, then Coventry and we did a role reversal and again yesterday. Sherlock, your right about the break, two weeks will appear endless, just hope the weather is kind for the squad on the training ground.
