Lomana Lualua is hopeful of sealing a deal at Blackpool after training with them this week.
The former Newcastle and Portsmouth striker is a free agent after leaving Cypriot side Omonia.
Lualua, 30, has attracted interest from Scottish champions Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday.

gave me a head against wall moment, all depends how he has recovered from knee injury and has not played any sort of regular football for 3 months.
but in Ian we trust
if he can get him fit and keep him fit and playing it will add a decent threat up front.

Lets hope Lulu can find fitness and form quickly.
On a different matter concerning players, do BFC have any links with Football
schools within the UK or abroad?
Are we scouting for youngsters?

the rules have changed recently any scout now must inform a club they are attending and young player found is now subject to a transfer fee to the club.
for example if my lad wanted to leave the club he plays for and join another it would cost the new club a fee anywhere from 10 quid upwards lol all kids must now be registered from under 7's upwards

There appears to be movement in the loan/transfer market which can only be good
news, maybe some of the other so called fans will lay off.
On the subject of scouting for players its a shame that we are unable to form a
partnership with football schools abroad. A few of the larger PL sides already have
links with football schools here in the UAE and are starting to find potential
youngsters.
I know of one football academy with excellent facilities that would be an ideal
partner, a little effort now could provide the next Pele in a couple of years.
