www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10432~2492555,00.html Quite a lot of Blah blah here but a couple of interesting points including his thoughts on last January's transfers. I think we all agree that Reid and Beattie were bad signings but you've heard it from inside the camp now. Wonder Why KO felt he had to make this general statement. Is AVFTT finally getting to him? You're never going to please everyone and especially the fickle newbies so whilst it nice to hear from Karl I don't think we need an explanation. You won't hear me complaining unless we dig a huge finacial hole and go into administration. I felt desperate for the Plymouth/Portsmouth fans last year. Strangely wouldn't care a jot for Leicester..don't know why? Just hope KO and Ollie keep the faith and cheer up a bit.

Well they probably thought they were doing the right thing in January, but other than Puncheon it didn't come off, great shame but that's life. Ollie is a bit of a worry, I am not sure it's the few fans getting hime down he would be well used to that from other clubs, I just wonder if the lack of the reserve team football and a very large squad to keep in check is getting to him. A good few of them have not yet played and just may be getting on his back if they think they are doing well in training and at the end of the day there are not to many positions in the first XI that are not settled.

Communication in the age of forums and other media sites is extremely important, whilst I may have opinions on the style of play and cohesion on the field I have never commented on the running of the club.
Under the circumstances KO is providing a well run club and is building for the future.
Where I would disagree is in the transfer policy, I would of prefered 3-4 players less for 1 player of quality, currently there is far too many on the books.
Perhaps KO is a member of this forum, I wonder who?

I feel sorry for him in some ways because i bet he is getting slated on AVFTT but can not be bothered to check lol he will never win with some people.
at the end of the day we know what we get with Karl, he is a business man first and foremost and has never hidden this fact, so the club will be run as a business and not a toy to play with till he gets bored.

Week after week this season I have fallen out with our own fans because of their comments during the game. My son and I nearly came to blows with a couple of them against Doncaster after they called Ollie a w***** when he took Shelvey off. They backed off when I think they realised how unreasonable they were being and I guess the two quick goals helped. I hope that was the reason anyway and it was noted that they were less vociferous in their comments on Saturday against Forest. This is definitely new territory for me although we have always had the fickle, moaning brigade. They have traditionally dwelt behind the dug outs so that the manager and subs can hear their vitriol. Expectations just seem so unrealistic this season from some fans. For me it is just about being there to support my team whatever the result or performance. I just love Blackpool FC. Although I think Ollie and Karl are right to speak out against the moronic minority, how about the pair of them just realising that the vast, vast majority think they are doing a great job and appreciate that fact. Forget about the plastic to**ers and leave them for the real fans to sort out and shout down. UP THE POOL

Well said, Sandy, and thank you. I believe, hopefully, that is the general view here on this Board, unlike that on AVFTT. YL.

Have to agree with the comments above.
I am not one for shouting abuse from the stands to anybody, I get annoyed when foul language is heard, complete lack of respect in my opinion.
However, I do shout at the TV sometimes.
