Just wondered if anyone else hopes Ollie and Karl break into the piggy bank and at the same time break our transfer record to keep him at Bloomers come January. Cummon Karl you know it makes sense!
I recall at one point he was mentioned as part of the Charlie deal but...rumour has it....he didn't want to come. I'm not going to speculate why but we certainly have the resources and the fans were promised a record transfer.
.....just saying

why would we want an X Factor reject who's biggest concert was the half time entertainment at Deepdale? ? The Zorba Wonga balls are far more fun

I can not see him making the grade at Liverpool from what i have seen so far, as for us signing him i think we need to see more first, just a feeling .
to much to soon to be at Liverpool

Yes but he's only 19! I know he looks about 30... but for his age he's got vision, strength and to my mind looks the biz. Compare him with Matty and Tom for overall maturity. I just think he's a player that makes things tick and he scores plenty of goals from midfield. We've a least started to move forward much more since he came along. Would love to see him sign a permanent deal.

How much would Liverpool want for him? £3-4 Million?
We all know there is not a chance that KO will pay that much for a player.

No we don't. He could be worth twice that in a year or two. Karl and/or uncle Val will invest if they can see a good return. Personally I think there is a policy of buying young potential and then maybe selling on at a profit within a couple of years. We'll keep them only if we get promoted as the profit will materialise in additional revenue rather than player value.
Makes sense if you think ablout it.
Problem, as ever, will be wages.

Liverpool seem to rate Jonjo highly and came to us to gain valuable first team experience, also after a little word from Charlie, pursuaded him to join us. I can see another loan till end of season in January, then it's down to Jonjo, does he want to sit on the bench for a couple of years and bide his time as one for the future or does he want to make his own mark and bite the bullet. My gut feeling is if we make it back to the holy grail, he would sign permanatly for us, as the lure of regular first team premier league action would be to good to turn down, but if we don't make it i'm afraid he will be heading back to Anfield. Sorry guys!!!!!

Its a difficult situation, play footy the Olly way or keep the bench warm.
I agree that the price and salary may an issue with Karl.
Lets hope he does stay till end of the season.

Blackpool’s on-loan playmaker Jonjo Shelvey says he wants to extend his stay at the club following his huge impact since arriving from Liverpool.
The 19-year-old is on loan at Blackpool until 31 December and has been instrumental for the Seasiders having scored 6 goals in 8 appearances so far.
“Blackpool are a good team with good players and I have asked [Liverpool] if I can stay here for the season,” Shelvey told Vital Football.
“It is not that far from home and I think we could achieve something.”
“I am really enjoying it here, I want to play football. Obviously I want to break into the Liverpool first team, but I think playing at a good club is giving me the best chance of ultimately doing that.”

Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That'll be a boost for Ollie too.
Make that call Karl....... and have your cheque book ready... you never know. He'll find it hard to be a regular at Anfield for a couple of years yet. Best option is to help us get promoted and prove you're ready on the pitch
