See the Liverpool striker has got an 8 match ban.
Now those of you who have read anything I've written know that I have no time for racism in any form.
This does leave me uneasy, though. It appears that punishment has been meted out based on the uncorroborated evidence of the "abused", who has form himself, and admits abusing Suarez. Secondly, the 8 match ban is an enormous punishment, far worse than a dreadful tackle, fighting on the pitch, abusing the ref, etc. John Terry must be cacking himself, having seen this.
So, totally OTT, or fair and reasonable? You, the jury, decide

To be fair, it sets a bad precedent, as it is "uncorroborated" as it is said - Eva's word against Suarez's...
though Saurez does admit using racist words - which I find very amusing, to say the least - ""...he claimed that in his home country such language was not regarded as racist..." Eh?
Fook me - what planet does this Saurez guy live on, especially after the Blatter incident a month or so ago?
8 games (+ £40k) is a bit much, considering the 'evidence' but the Sweet FA have got to be showing a lead somehow; I would put it at 4/5 games and a (reduced) fine.
I'm not condoning what he did - don't get me wrong, I'm against racism as much as anybody, but it's something they have continue clamping down on.
JT, beware!

I see JT has now been charged by the CPS, they must feel they have got a strong case.
Would be very surprised if Lpool don't appeal the Suarez punishment, seems so out of line with other penalties, agree about the 4 match ban, Yeni.
Maybe the "Kick racism out of Football" campaign should concentrate on the pitch rather than the "Terraces"

Seems to me that its the normal FA reaction as in over react so that when the club appeals they can reduce it down to 4 matches typical FA. Now as for Mr Terry, how can the CPS have a case but the FA not do anything? guess its the old innocent to proven guilty lark. So then Mr Swearez puts his hands up and says yes i did, and gets a 8 match ban so Mr Terry if found guilty must be looking at a min of 16 game ban and removel from the england squad. Or is the FA trying to ignore it and hope nothing happens with terry till after the euro 2012,
