Should have read it all before posting that is minimum wage. If the FA tell Karl to let him leave I think Karl might see it as £90 saved lol

It's items like this that give the club a bad name -
no wonder people don't want to play for us half the time -
and this is all down to ...............?
KO and the Board, of course!

I can't disagree with the club on this one. He was paid off from his last club , and hasn't done much for a couple of years. Olly threw him a lifeline (wasn't he the first signing) to help him retrieve his career, he's had 6 months, and not appeared. Does that suggest he isn't good enough any more, surely if he was as good as he was supposed to be, 1/2 a year later he would be pushing for a place. The Man United name has been thrown in just to make the article more readable to the Daily Snail readers...........you don't win cups and get promoted because your players are popular!!

If he didn't want a pay per play contract, and wanted a salary, he should have turned the offer down. Cake and eat it springs to mind. Why is he an ex Man U, etc, player, if he was so good, with good health, and was the business in training, he'd have featured. Yet another national newspaper having a pop at an unfashionable northern town

He was happy to sign as nobody else would touch him because of pass attitude problems and off field problems and i seem to remember him saying when he signed he was happy to sign because he wanted to prove he could still play and he would force his way into the team.
so sorry stop moaning and get on with it, is the simple answer .
Plus the reason he was given a chance was because he would have failed any clubs medical

Petty journalism again but you have to admit that it looks like a sensational story until you know the story behind the facts. The lad went into it all with his eyes open and was given a chance to impress when nobody else would have him. Call it a £90 a week trial if you like.
Maybe its worth asking who took the story to the press and why and I doubt it is rocket science either.
Karl is a particularly easy target when something like this surfaces and its very easy to twist reality.
In Ollie and Karl we trust.

Looks like a case of a agent trying to stir up trouble and get his player a move must be need the agent fee for Christmas shopping.
they really are going to bring the game to its knees and a example of lazy journalism yet again on the part of the daily snail
