What were the chances of Blackpool and Fleetwood being drawn together, farily remote I would think, but perhaps Yeni may have the answer. I just wondered, following last seasons effort against Southampton when some reserves and youth players were included the debate on 606 was evenly split between those not wishing to proceed and those that wanted a good cup run. Just wondered what the depth of feeling was this season, with us just 1 point from the play off places. I am going to stick my neck out and say I hope we give the cup and the league a good go this season, we have a large and talented squad, ok could do with one or two additions in the right holes, but all said and done sure we could give them both a shot. I am sure at the end of the day we all want to see the team win all of the games we play , but I also recognise how important it is financialy to get into the Premiership and some will say we should not jepordise this cause. Well can we and should we have a go for both 100%.

You could say that I would 'abstain' on the ? of cup runs:
On the one hand it detracts from our league endeavours, and puts some strain upon the players, but on the other hand, taking into consideration that we have a fair-sized 'squad' of over '25 players' (a la Prem rules!!) and a few need a run out, and with all due respect, Fleetwood are there for the taking, we might as well go for it. Good experience for some of the younger lads, if that what Ollie puts out, and if we progress, well and good.
Odds as to being drawn together - wouldn't like to even hazard a guess but in situations like this - due to being so local - a good few hundred to one?
And if we lose - well, Fleetwood are a damn good side - top of the Conference. Look what and where Stevenage are now, and they came up two seasons ago.
