If this is more than a loan i really do hope the club find time somehow for the fans to say goodbye to Brett
The rumour mill was in overdrive on Monday with reports that Blackpool striker Brett Ormerod is due to join Daniel Bogdanovic at Spotland.
Aside from the performance of Bogdanovic, the talk at Spotland during the home game with PNE was about his fellow Blackpool striker Brett Ormerod coming to Spotland as well, with Radio Manchester reporting this potential signing after the game.
Dale caretaker boss Chris Beech was tight lipped when asked about it after the game, refusing to confirm or deny an approach for Ormerod, but it is believed that the club hope to secure a deal for Ormerod on Tuesday.
There were reports of an approach to sign Ormerod over ten years ago when he was in his first spell at Blackpool, but wages made the deal impossible.

Gotta agree, Sherl, legends must not simply disappear without accepting their due adoration. From his viewpoint, though, if he still wants to play, probably the right decision, cos we now seem to have a fair few cracking strikers, with pace and guile.

Simply can't see how he would get a game for Pool now, but I'm certain we will get our chance to wish him well if he goes on a permanent deal.
If we don't I'll be off to Spotland to shake his hand.

Great player over the years for us, scoring some good and important goals but for footballing reasons as much as it pains me because the lad is the ultimate pro and has bled tangerine over the years, it's the correct decision for both parties. If it is the end for Brett at Bloomers, i for one wish him all the best and you never know maybe one day he'll return in some sort of coaching role. Good luck Brett, maybe gone but never forgotten!!!!!

I know the cup game is important, but thought he may have been able to play a part in it as a farewell if the above is true.

NO - he's joined Rochdale on a month-long loan.
He has signed an one-year contract with 'Pool last summer.
