Having already discussed this and stuck up for them as in feeling sorry for the fans, I think the time has come for them to be wound up.
Having read this morning that after the last sale of the club the debt was cleared they have failed again to pay the tax and now owe 800,000 to the tax man and today have failed to pay the players wages, enough is enough.
Expect a fire sale today, So Ian if you want anybody better get on the phone as the administrator is looking to sell now.

A few months back a Plymouth fan asked if Blackpool/Portsmouth supporters would wear something green when attending the match at Portsmouth in a mark of solidarity for Plymouth who were just about on the brink. We blame clubs for running themselves into debt but then so do countries in the Eurozone, debt is becomming widespread and at the end of the day those at the bottom of the chain are the ones who will suffer most. In the case of Portsmouth it will be the fans, the only hope is that another club will rise from the ashes like Wimbledon FC, I can't even imagine what that would be like if it happened at Blackpool, we got mighty close once and that was bad enough.

think i will not pay may taxes as it seems okay for them to owe 800,000 but i bet if i owed a pound they would hunt me to the end of the world

It's a case of a club not being run properly and again and again clubs like Pompey will try to run above their means and they weren't the first and they won't be the last! with the money money clubs are trying to spend which they don't have football clubs are becoming a terminal illness and eventually they will die! In Pompey's case i have no sympathy for them it is reported they were paying Arry £3m a year while they were in the Championship and splashing cash on players , wages and fee's which they do not have, whilst builders and other contractors who were working for the club, were not paid and went out of business! Portsmouth FC will not learn and think their above everyone else including the tax man!!

Sooner they go out of business the better !!!
Pity the FA or FL can't kick them out for bringing the game into disrepute

There are two obscene things here it seems to me.
1) Clubs go down this administration road because of a dodgy owner and seem to get out of jail at the last minute. Another dodgy owner comes in and all seems rosy and then it happens again. The obscene thing is clubs then seem to write of their debts and then come back even stronger and as pointed out, it is local businesses that bear the brunt and dont seem to get paid.
2) Fans from other clubs calling for their heads is even more obscene.
Whits pointed out how close Pool came to going bust which was just before the Oystons took over. I remember it well because my daughter and I raised £300 by jumping out of a fucking plane and the money was genuinely and gratefully received by the club.
It was a horrible time for our club and I could never wish it on fans from elsewhere. Nor should you!!!

Not wishing it on the fans at all, but it has to stop surely for the good of the game. the only way forward for them is to sell it to the fans

2) Fans from other clubs calling for their heads is even more obscene. Which is exactly what most Pompey fans were doing when Southampton was facing financial problems so as far as I'm concerned, I can't feel any bleeding heart sympathy for them & like I've said before "Karma's a bitch" The only people I do feel for are the decent hard working businesses and their employees forced into oblivion by the downright abhorrent way the club have conducted themselves
