We just scraped a last-minute draw (thru Southern) when these two teams last meet - a Tuesday night at the end of September, at the Ricoh, when Wee Ollie was sent to the stands for protesting at the ref for not allowing a sub when Evo was taken off injured.
Those who took part last time out included Southern, Sutherland, Evo, Gilks, GTF, Crainey, Angel, and the two Phillips.
Again, it's a night match - KO 7:45 . . 8:00pm. . . . . Tuesday 31st January
Personally, I believe IH will put out more of a "first team" than that which played the Owls on Saturday.....
but that's the 64k dollar question - which 'first team' ?
Something along the lines of -
Gilks Cathcart Baps Evo Crainey LuaLua (if fit) Southern Ince GTF Fleck Ferguson, Eardley, Matty & Kevin P, and Sylvestre...?
The push for the top continues
irrespective of any Cup matches....
I hope KO had the covers down last night.......

Mmmmm weather might be an issue, better early in the week, though
My team would be Gilks Crains Cathy Evo Baps Sylvo Fergie Bash Matty Incy LuLu if fit (GTF if not)
Subs KP Angel GTF Fleck Dicko
I'd let Mt Iron Man Keith a bit more time, 8 stitches is pretty rough
I really hope they go all out for it, very direct, fast and furious from the start. Another vital match to keep in touch ( no Pressure!!!)

Thanks, Sher. My copy of the fixture list was made earlier on in the year, and still timed KO as 19:45, but club site has indicated 8pm. Time for another pint, then. ;D

Coventry City, firmly rooted to the basement on 22 points, have the worse away record of any Champs team, having not won once on their travels, and losing ten of their 13 on the road, scoring six - a ratio of a goal every 120-odd minutes?
They have also only won one game - 3-1 - since the start of the year - home against Middlesbrough in their last match......
Who to watch out for? Alex Nimely scored on his debut last time out, and then there's Clingan, McSheffrey, and Jutkiewicz, who is their top scorer with nine goals.
The two teams have met 26 times in the last 92 years, with the majority of wins - 14 - in 'Pool's favour.
West Ham, Cardiff, and Birmingham seem to be the only ones with a better home record than the Seasiders - W8 D3 L2 (27 points) with 22 goals in our favour, 9 against.
So, taking into account how they performed against Middlesbrough................ a potential banana skin?

Strewth, defending isn't an option, is it?
Mind you, Bash can always fill in if defender crocked.

Last Night?
Where do I begin?
We had a fair number of chances in the first half, but I think it was a case of some players over-elaborating and getting caught in possession rather than going straight for goals. LuaLua to me was the prime culprit here.
Mind you , with City's record, who could really blame them for parking the bus?
The way things were going, when Coventry scored, and we didn't seem to be making much headway against their defence, I thought the visitors were going to get their first away win of the season - here!
Once again, it was the subs wot dun it.
Bednar added a bit of weight and height up front, and once again, KP was our saviour with a well-crafted goal.
The scenes which greeted GTF's goal in the dying seconds......
I know we've complained about losing goals in the last few minutes, but please, Blackpool, don't put us thru the wringer of winning games in the latter stages like last night too often!
At least we all went away happy with three points which puts us back into the play-off zone.
