Thought he was outstanding last night and its clear to see what Pearce sees in him. I honestly think that England fans would get behind a team who just play there heart out, win or lose, rather than the usual boring, over hyped, drivel we've got used to with so called stars.
These new lads were playing for the shirt, no question, and it was refreshing.
They were playing with something to prove and whilst Mr Keane can critisize them as naive, at least they gave 100%. I for one would support that team.

Think the way forward is with the youngster's and not to revert back to the old guard and that means taking these young hungry lions to the euro's! I read somewhere with some of the old guard, that the reason England do so badly in Major Competitions is the pressure and fear of losing! Well we can't do any worse, just play without fear and maybe you might just enjoy yourself and if you win great but if you lose it's what we expect anyway, so where's the pressure! I'm afraid this should be the end of the so called golden generation and get players in who want the shirt and have the roar of the three lions and are hungry and play with no fear. Parker last night typified what a great pro he is, not only on the field, leading the youngsters around but protecting them but off the field also a pro, i mean how many times is he in papers for the wrong reasons, zero! I say give Pearce a chance for the Euro's and take the youngsters with a couple of wise heads (in form) with Parker as a captain and lets see what we can do as we can't do anyworse than previous Tournaments and go and play with no fear. Also on the captaincy i think Pearce see's a lot of him in Parker and that's why he got the nod.

I actually enjoyed watching for a bit last night which makes a change, Full credit to Pearce for not being afraid to change things all he needs to do now is drop Steve G and jobs a good one.
Why should he not be given a chance as manager i would rather watch the young lads fighting for everything than the old guard (the golden age as some call them) they have had a chance and won nothing no matter who the manager.
I know everybody is going on about Harry and the press are determined that he will get the Job, but what has he ever really won?

I still don't even know the score here so it's a completely unbiased opinion here ....
(for what it's worth!)
I saw part of the game - first half hour - late on last night, and I had to ask myself - "Is this the England team?"
A complete change from prev. games I'd seen - it was more attack-minded, more cohesion - if that's the way to go, more of the same, Pyscho!
