So with 10 games left and 30 points to play for, as SAF say's it's squeaky bum time again and everything to play for! Personally, April looks slightly easier than the rest of this month but we are talking about the Pool here, so who knows. I know it's a cliche but we really do need to take one game at a time and a must win home game for me against Brighton, as their well and truly in the mix. So on to expectations, i know everyone has them, for me, automatic promotion went with the draw at home to Hull but i believe we need another 23 pts to get a play-off place as the league is so tight!! I would grab your arm off for a play-off place right now and let the lottery begin but form is key going into them as we Pool fans know! So we need to get things right on and off the field asap but i do believe our pitch could have an impact on our season, it's all if's and but's, but what does everyone else think.

Heart says no worries, head is worried. Earlier in the season we were praising their mental toughness to win games at the death, with a strong squad. That has not happened for the last 4 matches, but I'm sure Ollie has been working on team and confidence this week. Show 'em the play off games, show 'em Pool v Liverpool home and away, do some team bonding and then do the Churchill speech before the game. I am hoping we have had our bad patch, maybe some of the others have still to face theirs. Like you, I would grab a playoff place now.
Putting a roller over the pitch with a bit of watering might help, too!!
Never dull being a Tangerine, is it?

Just about to post a similar thing Rob.
I think we need to win 3 of our next 4 games and a total of 7 out of the ten remaining for a play off. Thats a big ask but certainly possible.
At this stage in the season teams either hit form or fall apart, and I only hope that the last three games have been a huge wake up call for the squad.
I'll be looking for a possitive response on Saturday. At least the teams in the next 4 matches will be looking to win the game rather than happy with a point. This should give us more space going forward and hopefully plenty of chances.
Just hope we don't get more "protest chants" as this will effect the team. What we need now is some momentum and 100% support. Lets save the politics for the summer!
Right now I'll have to say 50/50 for a play off and then its basically a semi final cup tie. (we are good at those!!)
I'm not sure the Gods are smiling on us just now but things can change quickly. Brighton is a HUGE game.
At least we're in the mix so to speak so lets just enjoy the ride.
