£100 pw wouldn't put fuel in his car.
I'm sorry but this is an insult.
If just offered £1k pw week plus a playing bonus then he might have just taken some heat off Owen and given the fans and players a timely boost.
As Sher says he missed a trick here. Shame.

oh dear he would only get match fee if he played a full 90 mins no wonder he said no. Plus i guess it would have made Ian's job harder if he started him

Sorry buts thats just taking the piss. The guy is and English legend and maybe just wants to prove something. Its not about money or he wouldn't have come in the first place but the offer is just an insult.
Lets hope it doesn't cost us £50m.
Robbie would have been used as a super sub rather like KP earlier in the season. 45 mins of KP then 45 mins of RF. Perfect. What a lift for the squad too.
Question is ....if (note if)we get to Wembley in a Play Off final would you like a player like this on the bench. Someone thats been there, done it, and has a shop full of Tee shirts.
The man may be past his prime but he knows where the goal is and after 60 mins at Wembley, especially if it was as hot as last time, THE chance will come. I can just see the headlines now...... Robbies farewell gift to Blackpool and the Premier League. Robbie scores an injury time winner to sink Allerdyce. Brum hearts broken by late Robbie scorcher.
Karl you have a heart of stone.
This is a mistake on so many levels.

He has tweeted now.
Offer was £90 pw and £5k for a completed game.
Whether this means substitution after 85 minutes lost him the whole fee or just a proportion isn't stated, however, the noobs on AVFTT have lots of factamundo figures and break downs which are all the truth, learnt from the guy next doors dog walker who also walks dogs for ian holloways butcher.

thats why i don't go on it very often another way of looking at it is if they paid him 3k a week its only 33k till end of season not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things really
