Did anybody notice yesterday GTF throw in at the south end? just wondering why we have not used this before as he clearly has the range to reach the pen area and at a decent pace.

Noticed that too.
Seems we have a new threat from throw ins.
Not pretty but it works, so why not.
Just now I don't care how they go in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't someone try the same thing last season (or was it the previous one)?

As you say, knock it down, or Bednar, Evo and Gnasher to bully a defence?
Oh, no, we're going to go hoofball aaarrrrgggghhhh

Anyone else noticed that we don't try to play out from the back these days either. Gilks just thumps it up field and rarely throws out.
Someone has been looking at our goals conceded earlier this season (and certainly last) and worked it out.
To be honest I don't mind not seeing our back four pass it about in front of goal!!!!
Ollie will never coach hoofball so as long as our midfield and forwards play the right way then I'm happy.

I don't care how we do it now just as long as it goes in the back of the net

Maybe there's a real truth in there, many have worked out how to handle all out attack, Ollie is starting to mix it up, and so we become less predictable.
I think the final bit of the jigsaw is still a consistent creative mid, if JJS did manage to come back, Id' think we were nailed on, but we still lack a little spark
