Here are what the press have to say on the match.
Yorkshire Evening Post Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is preparing himself for a white-knuckle ride in the Seasiders’ final three games of the Championship, with a couple of play-off slots are still up for grabs.
Pool chief Holloway, whose side welcome Leeds United to Bloomfield Road for the first time since March 1971 tomorrow night, are currently in fifth position, with the Lancastrians drawing 0-0 at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
But Middlesbrough, one place out of the play-off spots in seventh and at home to relegated Doncaster tomorrow, are breathing down their necks, with Boro just two points behind Pool and sixth-placed Cardiff City.
Holloway said: “We’ve got two home games now, starting with Leeds on Tuesday night, and after the result they have had (on Saturday), that will not be easy.
Then we have Burnley and the last thing we want to do is to have to go to Millwall for the last game needing to win the game.
BBC
Top scorer Kevin Phillips could return to boost Blackpool's attacking options after hip and ankle problems.
Fellow striker Roman Bednar remains on the sidelines with a knee problem, while midfielder Keith Southern is suspended.
Leeds winger Robbie Rogers has been ruled out as he awaits the results of a scan on his ankle problem.
Midfielder Michael Brown and teenage defender Zac Thompson both miss the game at Bloomfield Road with bans.
Stats
Leeds have won 15 of 40 competitive matches with Blackpool over 92 years. The Seasiders have won 13, and 12 have been drawn.
A hat-trick from Jonjo Shelvey helped Blackpool to a 5-0 victory in the reverse fixture in November, when Leeds were reduced to 10 men for 65 minutes following the sending off of Tom Lees.
It was Blackpool's biggest ever win over the Whites, and gives them the chance of a first double since 1966.

This one could go either way. As long as we're not intimidated by a very physical team then we should be OK. Need a strong ref and a noisy crowd. If we can get a win then we're right in it. Anything else and we need to stock up on toilet paper for the next two.
I hope they don't target Ince with some nasty stuff cause he's a massive threat (and they do have a reputation).
We need to me more direct in front of goal, running at the box rather than down the wing.
It'll be a great game though. I'm going for a 1-0.

Massive game tonight and 3 points are a must, with the Dingles and us heading down the smoke to the lions den to come, i can see both them being drawn. Bad time for a local derby and Millwall are the form team!!!!! What we don't want to be doing is playing catch up after tonight. Personally i don't think a point will be good enough tonight!! Nothing left in the tank boys, go for it!!!! Attack Attack Attack!!!! 4-1 Pool and 3 Pts we'll be virtually there.........................................................tbc

Cant wait for tonight, got butterflies already. I hope the crowd get right behind the boys from the off, it does make a real difference. You know, with the way I feel right now, all nervous and stuff, I just wonder if my old ticker can take another play off campaign. Was it so much simpler when we were crap or am I just talking crap,,,,lol? UP THE POOL

It was easier first time round because we came from nowhere and nobody expected us to get through to the playoffs never mind win the bloody thing.
glad its not just me never felt so nervous before a pool match for a long time, not even the playoff final

Just a fantastic game! Open football, good performances and a great result. To me Martinez was a clear MOM but everyone played well.
As expected Ince was a target for some physical stuff but he handled it well. He's strengthened areas of his game this season and has to be up there now for Player of the Season. Just hope he gets chance to use his trickery and pace at Wembley!
4 clean sheets on the bounce !!!! Bet we haven't achieved that for a year or two!
Thought the atmosphere was fantastic too.
Lets finish stage one on Saturday and look forward to the play offs UTP

fantastic result the team played well and we got the all important goal and 3 points, but a couple of things for me that i still think are wrong, first lua lua got a load of stick but not many seem to remember he is playing where asked by Ian.
His best performances have been when playing in the front 3 and cutting in personally i think he is a impact sub and handy to have on the bench.
My other and maybe i am just being harsh but ferguson needs to get some teeth and fight because at times its like playing with ten men, he can be slow making a choice of pass and vanishes for large parts of the game, think he will get dropped to bench for the final game as gnasher will have served his ban.
one the plus side ludo seemed to zip the play around when he came on.
just my thoughts and not meant as a attack on any pool player but just can not see the passion in Barry's eyes more of someone just serving time.

Have to agree Sher. BF and Fleck have been my two dissapointments this season. There's no doubting Fergies ability but just maybe he's not creative enough for our style. Always makes a decent pass but often to the guy next to him or just behind.
Having said that if we were 1-0 up at Wembley with 10 mins to go he would be my first choice as a sub.
Whilst I'm on I would like to see Ollie address our problem with 10 men! I was screaming "KEEP THE BALL" for the last 10 minutes. We could easily have blown the win with some silly forward passing when a simple back pass would have been better. I know what they were trying to do but it wasn't easy to watch.

Sounds like a really solid performance. From those who were there, did the defence look better, or were the Weeds just not that attacking? Sounds like Dicko was a handfull when he came on?
Have to say slightly less nervous, now, really looking forward to Saturday and one of my unfortunately rare visits down. Would be great to have it all wrapped up regardless of other later results, but we don't tend to do things the easy way.

The defense was brilliant and evo was solid and back to his best, they are not all going forward as one unit anymore, a system seems to have been worked on where they take it turns to go forward.
Sounds daft i know but that is how it appeared to me. with evo hanging around the midfield area when we had them penned in.
just wish gilks would come for the odd ball but its working at moment so maybe something for next season to work on.

Hey Mr Bates why not go bleed another club dry. Mr bates gives his thoughts on last night oh by the way bates the so called better club still has something to play for you ass hole Ken Bates: Yes, Neil and I chatted for nearly an hour this morning about various aspects of the club as well as the game but his view on it was that some players played well and enhanced their future prospects, others didn’t and should be looking in the mirror this morning, particular O’Dea. It’s just not good enough that he gets sent off. You question his self control and commitment to the club. No doubt the manager will be talking and discussing that with him in the next few days. The view was in the end that we could have won the game. Blackpool weren’t all that great for being one of the so-called better clubs in the division. We had several clear chances that we didn’t take and of course there was a penalty that we should have had with Snoddy. We got neither a penalty or a corner so we got a goal kick. Another referee that got criticism. But let’s not worry about the result, be more interested in the individual performances of certain players. Neil tells me there was much to be encouraged by so we will go to Cardiff in good heart.

Leeds weren't all that great considering they are one of the so-called biggest clubs in the country.
Thanks for the 6 points though.
The man is a total moron
