Board's very quiet about footy at the moment
Everyone as nervous about results as I am? Saturday's point will either be seen as crucial, or as the game when we lost our mojo again. Surprising that a team so similar to that which had run riot, minus Gnasher, was so quiet. Maybe he really is that crucial to breaking up the opposition movement, but surely someone as experienced as BF should be able to do the same.
Tomorrow really is squeaky bum time, I hate having games where we have to win, but I think tomorrow's result, and the style we show, is absolutely crucial.
Anyone know when KP supersub is back?

I have been busy this weekend lol. Think people are nervous and not much coming out of the club at the moment, 3 points tomorrow would be nice just to ease the pressure a bit, really don't want to have to go to the last game needing 3 points don't think the ticker could take it.
its been the normal entertaining season at bloomers with ups and downs but not ready for it to finish yet.
As for the Gnasher question, I really do think we miss him, yes his pace is gone his passes are not always the best, But he get in the other teams faces and drives the team and has a engine on him that keeps him going the full 90 mins and finally will always try to go or pass forward rather than sideways or backwards.
In the 20 games he has played a part in pool have lost 4 and 2 of them he came on as a sub and pool where already losing.

Good stat that, Sherlock, he brings something almost intangible ( or maybe they are all scared of a rollocking off him if they don't give 100%!)

I wonder if it's so quiet because of the difference between now and two years ago..........in our promotion season we beat the Florists home and away and then breezed past them in the play-offs to make it four out of four against them for the season.......this season we lost to them 2-1 at Bloomers last October and could only manage a nil - nil at the Shitty Ground at the weekend, so five points dropped to them this time around and they're not even a top half team this season!! Not exactly a great deal to shout about there then! I don't want to appear overly pesamistic but I'm beginning to think maybe we're not as strong as we were two years ago and should we make the play-offs, I don't think we have it in us to truly challenge ANY of our likely rivals.

I think we'll be OK for the play offs, but only on the last day of the season!
No-one has run away with this league and everyone is dropping points nearly every week.
To be fair, if we get there, that's an amazing achievement and we could yet go all the way.
Just great to have something still to play for.

Ironic that we are in a better position than we were 2 years ago, yet we mostly feel less confident. Someone needs to step up to the mark and give us a bit of magic, ala Charlie or DJ
Messers Dobbie, Taylor Fletcher, Phillips and Ince, your stage awaits!!
