Well i see he has been a naughty boy again yesterday and is bound to get a good spanking by the FA in this day and age of protected players it was a red but rewind 20 years and a few more and it would only have been a yellow.
Of course i am using the Gary Briggs scale of punishment to establish that it would only be a yellow lol.
But to the point, Mr Barton is supposed to be the hard man of football? but i seem to remember a certain Gnasher in tangerine dealing with him at bloomers by slamming him into the advertising boards were he stayed for a few Min's and then spent the rest of the match trying to avoid gnasher at all costs
So did gnasher cause more brain damage to Barton in that one incident that finally sent him over the edge again lol

I assume Gnasher was tackling him when, at least, he actually had the ball. Funniest thing yesterday was watching the early leavers trying to get back in! I'm sure they will be telling their Grand kids "after 44 years I was nearby when we won" Priceless!!

It was one of the highlights of my Premier League season when Gnasher deposited Barton into the East Stand then stood over the stricken "hard man" and issued the immortal words, "You prick".
How to handle the school bully,,,,,,,,,,,get your retaliation in first
Priceless.
