Blackpool supporters attending the play-off second leg at St Andrew's tomorrow night are asked to take note of the following from West Midlands Police:
For safety reasons, at the end of the match, Blackpool supporters may be held behind for a short time in the ground. This will allow the home supporters to disperse, and the travelling fans can then safely leave, whether that be on the coaches which will be near to the gates, or private transport.
We are aware that trains back to Blackpool do not run after 10pm from Birmingham and given the prospect of extra time and penalties I suspect no-one has planned to get that train. If it is felt necessary to hold supporters back messages reminding supporters of this will be broadcast during the match so that you will know in plenty of time.
For your comfort there will be access to toilet facilities during this short period. We are confident that this slight delay will make the match a safer experience for you.

in all honesty brum should not be in the playoffs considering they are in all likely hood going to have 10 points deducted at the start of next season if they are in the championship and 9 if they beat us and west ham and go up.
somebody explain to me how that works?

Agree mate, it's all boll*cks and should be given the 10 point penalty straight away, as clearly they have not played by the rules off the pitch and the fact another team who's finances are good and have played by the rules, have to miss out on the play-offs is disgraceful! The only thing is if B'ham do go up they will pocket £90m, which they do not deserve and will help their finances, so a 9 point penalty they will take, if they don't go up, their will be no money and a 10 point penalty in the championship. So plenty of pressure on them tomorrow!!!!!!!
