First of all well done boys you showed determination and grit last night, lots of outstanding performances even ferguson got active lol but GTF and EVO you were fantastic.
So we have a slender 1 goal lead and maybe we should have had more but we have a lead and no worries about them having a away goal.
Only two things we need to do to get a result in my mind.
1. make sure somebody is supporting Dobbie when he runs through them like last night. some of his ball control was amazing lets just make sure he has somebody to lay it of too.
2. Only a slight moan regarding Matty, please please look up Matty when you beat the man a couple of times last night a good pass would have opened them right up
overall unlike some moaning asses last night i think we will beat them like we did the forest 2 years ago (history repeating me thinks)

one more thing after reading the papers this morning my least popular paper the daily snail have done it again and just shows that the journalist must have his mind on other things see if you can spot the 2 mistakes....
But Blackburn responded with thumping efforts from Scott Dobbie and Barry Ferguson and eventually poked their noses in front on 41 minutes when Thomas Ince’s shot deflected off Davies to wrong foot Birmingham keeper Colin Doyle.

Phew, that was a game and a half, hope the poor old boy in the west needing medical attention is OK
Disappointed we only got one, some poor last ball and decision making, but to beat one of our Bogie teams is a real boost. Some very poor refereeing, particularly on offsides, they got away with three or four miles out. Haven't had the advantage of seeing and of the game on TV, was KP's header off?
Evo and Baps were immense, that Marlon King is one of the dirtiest strikers I have ever seen, punches coming back every time he went for a ball, grabbing his opponent around the waist to push them off, with a better ref he would have been carded, if not sent off. Total farce at the end with Evo's nose, the last frantic minutes and we lose our central defender, and they wouldn't let him back on. Incey was amazing, took a lot of punishment, though, hope he's Ok this morning. Was disgusted when he ran onto a loose ball in front of their goalie, the goalie grabbed it and held his legs up in the air to kick him as Incey hurdled over. Cynical attempt to damage him.
Evo's hail Mary pass is coming along nicely, and young Tom is great at hauling it out of the air. Eards has developed a short chip over the mid, good stuff.
Brum fans were quite quiet, even a few empty seats, which surprised me.
Anyway, they now have to come at us, and if we play like last night, we can get a goal or two. They look comfortable, the skill set has developed, with a fair wind and decent ref, we stand as good a chance as anyone.
And finally, absolutely chuffed to hear "Best Trip" bawled out at full volume

Still trying to work out how we onlky won 1-0 !!
Sadly from what I see on Twitter the guy in the west didn't make it :-
@b1orm10 @charlie26adam @phillips_matty @tomince36 The club has confirmed the supporter who took ill has died. Very sad. Rip.
Thought Baps & especially Evo were immense (Evo was MOM for me)
Thought overall Halsey had a good game but was seriously let down by his Assistant running the line in front of the Brum Scum who given he hardly gave anything offside against them in the first half but blew against us every time in the 2nd half quite clearly was intimidated by them
My only qualm is I think we need to start Keith in the 2nd leg unless Barry suddenly learns you can actually pass the ball forward as well as sideways or backwards

We were almost unstoppable going forward, the options available are amazing to see. I thought Fergie had a good game myself, but could see Gnashers itching to get on. Incey's ball control and tricks are a joy to watch, sometimes he tries to go too fast for his own feet though. Agree about the matty phillips comment, needs to have a wider vision. Dobbie......if we had him at the start of the season, we may have been promoted already. GTF immense, not just hard working but some sublime skills too at pace. Martinez was always able to get round their midfield and move the game forward. And as for the defence, another clean sheet from the colander crew as they were before mid march.
Agree with YeOlde about King, disgrace of a performance, unfortunately I think the ref was on a mission not to book anybody as the blatant dive on the edge of the box in the 2nd half when baps had the ball was definitely a bookable offence. Slightly disapointed not to have had another couple, but I can see great things ahead if we do the same thing on Wednesday.....

Great night, fantastic atmosphere, and a pretty good result. Like a lot on here would have liked another one at least and we probably should have scored on a couple more occasions but at least the Brummies know they are in a game now!
Very compact mid-field in the second half and we struggled to play through it.Looked like a containment tactic from the Blues and to a degree it worked. We just don't do long ball!
Some of the movement was just sublime though and we created enough opennings.
They looked relieved to get off the pitch.
Will be a different game on Wednesday with up to 30,000 fans but our lads can handle it. The 1st goal is the most important and we will have chances. You can never write us off!
Thought KP had scored (I was bang in line) but the TV shows he was a couple of feet offside for a millie second. Grrr
Fans were in great form and for me it just felt as though we were back. BELIEVE!!!!!!!!

Just spoken to our Brummie guest, first thing he said was "You battered us"
I asked him about King, he says it's just the way he plays to unsettle defenders, mostly gets away with it and it works for them. As a footy fan, he doesn't like it, says he's a dirty xxxxxx

Outstanding performance, and made me stand tall, puff out my chest and be proud to be a seasider!!!! Thought everyone was magnificent and agree with roads, said to my bro last night with Dobbie's close control and all round game, how can he not get a game for Swansea is beyond me!!! have to say if we could of got last nights team out at the beginning of the season, i don't think we would of been needing to go through the play-offs!! I've been shouting for Angel since the draw with CP away but Dobbie's what we've been missing all season to the jigsaw, better late than never though. Was disappointed with brum, thought they'd have more of a go but their still well and truely in it and now have home advantage, the only thing is they now need to come at us and i think they may well just get burnt on a counter, anyway it's eyes down Wednesday now. CMON THE POOL!!!!!!!
