www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17867957These are in a fight with us, for promotion. Their chairman is under serious money laundering charges, they can't confirm what debts they have, and yet they are allowed to go on until the end of the season as if nothing is happening. What happened to the rules?

It is a joke every other business has to play by the rules. they are only going one way as they have lost 26.32% of the share price in the last year. depends how tightly the Hong Kong authorities keep a eye on them.
don't think the UK can touch them as they are registered and trade only on the Hong Kong stock markets.

The FA/FL have al the ammunition they need with the Fit and Proper persons rules, they just ain't got the cojones to deal with it. The sorry saga of Leicester, Portsmouth, Rangers, et al, at al will continue until the Football Authorities actually do what their rules tell them they should.
And the Tax Man should be a secured creditor, the sheer brass neck of these clubs spending the money saved for Tax payments is an affront to every one of us who pays our taxes every year. I hope HMRC wins their case currently at the High Court, and I hope they try and block every AVC from every morally bankrupt club which tries to win on the never never and then walk away, starting again as if nothing has happened.
And breathe LOL

one simple rule change should be brought in about overseas buyers, when they buy a club they should be forced to register a company in the uk and the company should have a sum deposited in it and the company put into trust.
The trustees should be the Prem and FA and minister for sport.
The money can gain interest that is then invested into sport community in the local area but the main sum can not be touched until the club changes hands, but can be used straight away if a club goes into administration.
Premiership 50 million Championship 20 million Div 1 10 million Div 2 5 million

Sandy, you are spot on. On the football pitch the rules are the same for everyone( well, almost!!), but off the pitch, people like Wet Spam, and Birmingham are competing unfairly, and no one seems to care, no news expose s, investigative journalism, or whatever.
Does my head in!!
