....who left the tangerine ship at the end of last season appear to have fared quite poorly and I wonder how many are going to be regretting leaving us now we've achieved play-off status?
OK, David Vaughan will be happy enough at Sunderland but what about the others? Luke Varney has now managed to get relegated 2 seasons on the trot and could still be joined in that dubious achievement by the badge kissing DJ Campbell (who incidently has hardly kicked a ball all season and was even given the day off on Saturday......presumably to give his arse calluses a rest!). Charlie Adam had a decent start with Liverpool but since the return of Steven Gerrard has hardly got a start and as such wouldn't appear to have much of a future with the scousers.
Also, what about the others who were released at the end of last season, Paul Rachubka, Richard Kingson, Rob Edwards, Danny Coid, Malaury Martin, Marlon Harewood, Jason Euell, David Carney, Andy Reid, Salaheddine Sbai and Ishmel Demontagnac, none of them appear to have gone on to success either.
Regrets, I've had a few........
C'mon the 'pool!! 4 games to win for the Tangerine dream!!

If we reach Premier League status, rather than just the play offs, then they will all regret it. A wopping £5m bonus pot will more than match the wages they're on and I bet they don't have as much fun without our Ollie.
I don't think Charlie, DV or DJ look settled and Varney must be mighty peed off. Wish them well though.

Malaury Martin is at Middlesboro but don't think he gets many starts but at least he is fit lol
Andy Reid has had a million percent improvement at forest since last season

they will always be remembered with great fondness for everything they gave, the only one that will be half happy is DV as for Varney he might be on 23K a week but no point if your not going to get paid and out of all of them he is probably the one that would not make the team now.

As always said, the grass ain't always greener on the other side, good luck to all of them but when they check their bank balances, i'm sure their's a few regrets, DV apart!!! or maybe even DV!! DV= Real Sociedad, plucked home from obscurity , DJ = hated by Lester, CA= plucked out of obsecurity at Rangers, all moved on i hope to further their careers and not just for the money. These three were big fish in a maybe small pond but now their just small fish in the pacific ocean. I think if we go up this season, i have a feeling Vaughny and Charlie might just come home.........................................

I would have them all back except the, " Everybody knows I only want to play for Blackpool" badge chewing deserter. He left our club like a rat off a sinking ship as soon as we were relegated. Not one word to say to the supporters who tried so hard to get him here and make him feel appreciated and welcome after his time with Leicester. If he reflects he will realise that the only place he has done owt as a player is with Blackpool. I for one have no time for him now. He can fester in the QPR stiffs. UP THE POOL

shame really because he is a nice guy in real life, getting paid more is fine but when your time in the sport is limited you would think just sometimes passion, pride and the chance to play regular would sometimes come into it.
but i guess the world has changed for the worst

I am well aware of the badge chewers goals pete having seen most of them in the flesh and I am sure he is a nice bloke as has been pointed out. But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,my loyalty is to BFC, his and many others of their ilk only have loyalty to their bank balance. I appreciated his time with Blackpool and loved every minute of it but it is the hypocrisy that I detest so much. If he really wanted to play for our club as he so passionately told us when he came he would still be here. We were a means to an end. We dug him out of the deep hole that was Leicester and made him a much loved hero. When we had served our purpose, he was off without a word or a backward glance. Yes, he was very, very influential in the team that won us promotion to the Premier League but he was also in the team that was relegated. The badge chewer is history in my eyes. (Good picture though) UP THE POOL
