Calm down, Sher, calm down. The hard work has still to be done, before we reach the 'Promised Land'. My betting is it's Wet Spam before Wembley...

Did I say we could cut loose?
YYYYYAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY
That's why we go to footy, loved the passing, can't believe the bbc possesion stats, it was like a training session at times.
Thought Burnely were a fair threat, but the defence was awesome, Baps and Evo could grace the Prem ( please)
Going to manage a drink or several now, good to bump into you, Yeni, on the way in
Bring on the playoffs

just one complaint about today really and i am rather disgusted and i know other forums have gone on about it all year but today of all days...
I am on about people leaving early would it really have killed you all to stay a extra 3 Min's to the final whistle and give the team a full standing ovation from a full crowd not a stadium that was already starting to empty.
This team has performed way above what was expected and in no small part performed a miracle to reach the play offs after the heartache of last year and all the doom and gloom and things like the club accounts business.
come on supporting the team is for 90 Min's (plus stoppage time) and not just for Christmas!!!!!!!

AND for the "Lap of Honour"
My only complaint about today, was that we tended to over- elaborate in the passing towards the end, which could have backfired - I was just worried when we started 'show-boating' that they might nick a goal or two.....
(I really wanted Gilks to keep another clean sheet!)
A fleeting moment, Ye Olde, a fleeting moment, but nice to see you again.

LOL
To add to Sherlock about leaving early, I said to the folks sat next to me yesterday, against Brizzle 2 years ago, the place was still full at the end and for the lap of honour. Too many Billy big boots.
Loved the way the players went round, with Ollie and Thommo following, allowed us to pay our respects to them separately.
I know what you mean about showboating, but in their defence, Burnley were a decent side till half time, and to be able to do that in relative safety will have done wonders for our players confidence.
One last thought, Dicko is not only a star, fast even by Matty and Incey's standards, he knows how to get the crowd onside, luv him to bits!!

Please can we sign Dicko, Dobbie and McManaman Karl, and that is a order lol

If people don't want to show respect for the team, as far as I'm concerned they can do one to Dumpdale, Deadwood Park, Turd Moor or the Reecock !!!!
Still . . . . . . the best trip !!!!

Know what you mean, April - the kids really enjoyed themselves on the Lap, especially one little lad in 'Pool top leading everyone round the pitch.
not forgetting the little girl mascot at the start, before the pics were taken - she couldn't stay still, hopping about !
Great sight with all those youngsters and babies.

If that was who I think it was, he was probably just made up with his Dad's goal (even if some Dingles reckon it didn't cross the line)

Great to see what I presume was Thommo's little girl go out from the stands to her Dad, Ollie tousling her hair, love 'em to bits.
Oh, and the goal looked OK to me, cheating Dingle hooked it out from behind the line below us. Actually, apart from missing several Dingle handballs early on, I guess the ref didn't do tooooooo bad. Didn't take any nonsense from them whinging about Dicko's goal, looked to be timed to perfection to me.
