Tonight's back page of the gazette makes bad reading Our beloved Chairman has said if a bigger club comes calling for Ollie he would have no hesitation in letting him leave as he deserves his talents to be recognized and he would even drive him to his new club. Now cover your eyes because i am about to swear. Karl your a fucking idiotyou have just basically told one and all that he is a free man, never mind going on to say your relationship with him has never been better. just maybe if you gave him some money he would get pool back to the premiership and in turn earn yourself even more money. I for one will never ever forgive you Karl if you screw this up for the first time in about 30 years we have a very good manager and probably the strongest squad for a long time. Just for once concentrate on the football side!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh dear, did we seriously think Ollie would be able to pressure KO, I guess we always hope, but this relationship is very close to breakdown. Karl, what are you scared of?
Totally depressed, looks like we are going back to the lower leagues.
Like you, have been a great supporter of the O's, but I will never do so again if Ollie does go. Still support BFC, but not the owners

Was starting to think i was going mad and maybe only i could see what a opportunity we have and the job Ollie is doing.
its okay Karl saying he wants desperately for Ollie to stay but then comes out with this garbage and we all know why because Karl does not like criticism or being challenged by Ollie in last weeks press.
Just for once can we not have a normal closed season and get the job done? remember Karl you said that 11 mill was at the clubs disposal should they need it, well i can not think of a better time to use it than now.

ummm somebody has change their tune over the last 6 hrs or somebody has been phoned up at the gazette and bollocked.
6 hrs ago it was Ollie can go and now its Oyston: Relationship with Holloway is better than ever
The updated version is below, it seems to me that somebody at the club stamps their feet and the gazette tremble, can we please just get it sorted Karl and make Ian the clubs first signing lets say on a 3 year deal.
KARL Oyston insists his relationship with Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has never been stronger – but ahead of their meeting this week, the chairman admitted that if a “bigger” club came in he would have no hesitation in allowing the manager to go.
“I think he deserves that from me after what he’s done,” Oyston said.
But he reiterated that he wants Holloway to remain in charge for many years and will discuss a wage rise during their talks.
And Oyston insists there is no problem between them, despite Holloway stating in his latest Sunday Mirror column: “A manager wants to know that everyone at the club is shooting for the stars rather than being happy to tread water.”
Oyston responded: “I’m not going to let anyone pretend there is an issue between us because there isn’t.
“Our relationship is as strong as it has ever been. We both totally understand one another and all it comes down to after that is fairness.
“I have been in Monaco over the weekend but I spoke to Ian, who is in Italy, on the phone and we had a good chat. He knows I want him to be the manager over the longer term and to keep building on what we’ve got now because the improvement and the growth has been massive.
“For us to view ourselves and be viewed by our competitors as a strong Championship club and a realistic contender aiming for the play-offs and promotion, how far have we come since Ian joined the club? It is nearly unbelievable.”
That’s why a pay rise for the manager will be discussed this week and Oyston added: “I think it is highly important that the manager is happy, that he feels he has a fair deal that reflects what he has achieved for this football club and what we hope he will continue to achieve for this club.
“We’ve got to treat Ian fairly, and reflect his value, importance and contribution to the football club. Ian is a very fair-minded man and he needs us to be fair with him.“That is why if some bigger club wants to take Ian, then I think I’d be the first one to load him in a car and give him a lift.
“I’ve told him that. I think he has deserved that and I’d be amazed if other clubs don’t look at him.”
The last 2 paragraphs still do not sound good
Plus remember Simon Grayson and what Karl said then as well
'If they want Simon' I'll get him in the car and take him," Oyston told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"That's the world we're in, so there's no point anyone getting hysterical."
"If, and when, he feels he can further his career and it's a good opportunity then he'll be off," said Oyston.
