It seems that they can be gracious in defeat and fair play to them here is a selection from Leeds web sites
You look at Blackpool and you realize a team there is being built with a mid- to long-term goal in mind.
'Football' won last night. And rightfully so.
Blackpool played Leeds off the park, and but for a combination of bad refereeing, Paddy Kenny, poor finishing and 2 hits of the woodwork, then Leeds would have been beaten by 5 or 6.
Energy, pace, passing and movement from Pool. Absolutely nothing from LUFC. No energy, no heart, no closing down or passing. Our young fullback took a mauling. The beast was totally out of his depth. Our old men looked like old men who were relegated last season. A fair reflection of the play would have been 8 or 9 nil. An unmitigated disaster. Only Kenny worthy of wearing the shirt.
Outclassed - were we playing
Brazil ? Battered !
All over us, we can't get the fucking ball off them
Warnock had his ass handed to him on a plate tonight. We were lucky to walk away with only a 2-1 score line. Our un-gelled squad came up against a team with more quality in midfield especially in movement and quick passing. Their genuine pace was the nail in the coffin for tonight's hopes.
Yes we were well and truly mullered last night, we were lucky to escape a thrashing.
Blackpool were excellent last night. We were just the same as Saturday but against a better team
Blackpool were good. Ince was superb. We were just outclassed

Having to pinch myself to believe the reaction, astounding!!
As I didn't get there last night, how did Cathie get on, would be an even bigger bonus if he is back to anything like his best?

Thought Cathcart had an OK game, then again it would be hard not to have an OK game against that (lack of) offense

The most notable thing with him and baps last night is they stayed back more than normal while crainey and eards pushed on. good to see harris back on the bench as well
