Ok I know they got promoted and we have this seasons automatic promotion to look forward to , but in the lead up to their promotion they were splashing the cash, my question is how come they were not under any embargo - it is a long time since Sheff Utd were relegated, and 10 million owed to one club is serious Wonga (you could say it has probably cost Sheff Utd to drop to L1 and being unable to make it back)- maybe they should launch another lawsuit?

I have just read about it, seems the age old story that the so called big clubs can do what they want, I would guess West hams stance is, thats was the previous owners and they should have sorted it so go away and they will probably get away with it as well

So little coverage of this as well. You can guarantee that if it was someone like us, the press would be all over it. Sick of double standards in football

Double standards from the grey suits again, they won't touch Wet Spam with a barge pole, had it been the other way round and Sheff Utd still not paid, they would of had a transfer embargo and demoted a couple of divisions long before now. West Ham seem to be splashing the cash in the transfer market alright, so they have the cash and therefore Sheff Utd probably won't and never will get a penny from them.

Yeah, they've spent about £5m so far from what I can see, and are reported to be offering in the region of £10m for Jarvis, so they've got absolutely no defence. Disgraceful.

Just over £10m for Jarvis, Wolves have got a superb deal there. The FA needs to grow a pair and really step in on clubs in debt.
On an aside, £10m for Jarvis is a joke, no way he's worth that much, especially when you consider that Spurs got Adebayor for £5m, who is a significantly better player.

If Jarvis worth 10 million Ince has to be worth at least 18 million
