Well that was a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours down at bloomers and overall a good workout from the boys and even though it was not the full squad they looked better than this time last year.
I like the look of Isaiah Osbourne he impressed today and looks one for the not so distant future.
and oh boy can ollie shout lol
Just one thing and i am sure we don't need the money so can we please for the love of god stop playing bloody rugby on the pitch in the summer how in hell do we expect to get a decent pitch at the start of the season if we keep letting the egg chasers on it in the summer

I wondered what those funny numbers and lines were on the pitch!
Crackin afternoon's entertainment, no pressure so enjoyed it more than most games, if I'm honest. Some real positives, finally saw a glimpse of why Ollie wanted Bruna, Halstead steady, with a good defence helping him out the only time he spilled it, Osbourne's mazy run was an eye opener, the old timers played like they had never stopped from last season and wasn't GTF on fire. And when all the kids came on, boy, were they looking to catch Mr Holloway's eye, no fear, real pace against Everton!
Every single one of them looked comfortable on the ball, quick passing will drive many opponents to distraction, guess Ollie has a real problem working out his best combination, looks like we've got at least a couple of skilful committed teams.
And a great send off for Keith, oh Lord, Keith Southern, he won't be back till end of September
