www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18577192Well, it looks like the other club's supporters have put their foot down, chairmen have followed, and Rangers will not be in their top level for another 3 years or so. With reservations for the financial damage to them, well done to someone for at last standing up for what's right and moral (Puts tin hat on and waits for responses)

I think your spot on why should a business be allowed to screw people over then reform and get to carry on... about bloody time the only people that loose in this are the fans and i do feel sorry for them.
They might not even have a team to play with anyway as the players are refusing to have the contracts moved to the new company

I do so hope this happens in England now, not because I want some clubs supporters down, but purely to re-inforce the fact that in-ordinate overspending and speculation no longer has a place in the football leagues (including the Premier League).
Leicester City continue to spend beyond their budgetable platform, Portsmouth were still only 10 points worse off than they were before they cost suppliers and others a fortune.
I think hat Blackburn or NotloB could be next, and what an example for HMRC to expose.

Well they all have this season to get the houses in order before the new rules come in. But then again are they going to enforce them?
In the long run i hope they catch them and sort them out because it will help the game over all, by driving costs down especially for the teams outside the premiership

If we dont pay our taxes there is hell to pay and our feet dont touch the ground. Really glad HMRC have put the boot in at last because its getting a joke what clubs have been getting away with and just getting a slap on the wrist.
How can an institution like Glasgow Rangers with all their worldwide revenue and support get into such a mess. The mind boggles. It is mis-management on a colossal scale and surely there must be some degree of fraudulent goings on there. Hang em high! Lock em up for the duration I say!
A big round of applause to the SPL clubs for putting footballing integrity before financial gain. Hopefully their English counterpart will watch and learn from it.

If we dont pay our taxes there is hell to pay and our feet dont touch the ground. Unless we're Jimmy Carr or a member of Take That (or should it be Keep That)
