Commonsense 1 Greed 0
And the irony is that long term, it will financially benefit him, cos he'll be the finished article

He is going to be a really big star and knows it and to him at the moment the most important thing to him is to play the game he loves. maybe somebody else should take notice..

Great to hear that some young footballers want to play football, rather than warm the bench

At last a player who is more interested in playing than chasing money
Why miss out on a chance to be a legend at a club to be a bench warmer only starting in cup games unless someone is injured
I do think he will eventually be good enough to start in most Premier league teams but that will be from getting experience from playing week in week out over the next few years and hopefully by then we will have been in the Prem for afew seasons. therefore having no reason to move on anyway.

What a smashing lad young Tom is and what credit to his parents.
I think it always puzzles fans when young lads get their heads turned and finish up warming the bench at a Premier League club instead of playing and enjoying football every week at a club like ours. If they are good enough they will end up at the top anyway.
I thought of all those players who have left recently and seemed to have disappeared without trace. The grass isnt always greener as we tried to tell them on this forum before they went.
Tom has also realised it is the other Blackpool players, Ollie and the way we play that make him what he is. Did you hear that badge chewer? Only with the Mighty Pool have you ever been a success.
UP THE POOL

I know many on here don't like him anymore, and Sandy is likely to go up in smoke, but the thought of DJ playing with Thomas, Matty, Dicko, and the new ones, I'm afraid that has me drooling.

Is this likely to come off as DJ was linked with Bristol City and had a bid accepted! Personally would prefer Dobbie to DJ if i had to choose one but just can't see this coming off, plus Sherlock has not put him up yet in the squad zone!lol Assuming we pulled it off, it would have to be permanent as QPR are looking to reduce the wage bill and is he willing to take a pay cut,if he does then maybe that would go some way to Sandy forgiving him. Anyway roll on midnight Friday and that window slams shut as im more concerned with who will leave rather than who's coming in!

Please, please, not the badge chewer.
I hold my hand up and say he was sensational for us and that is what probably hurts so much. He threw it all away to warm the bench in the Prem rather than play in a team who made him the player he became and with fans who loved him. Blackpool are the only club where he has done anything.
He left Blackpool to, "Be near my family " and "To be with the club I supported as a boy". Yawn, yawn. Whatever! It was the money more like. And now that club he loves and supported as a boy dont want him anymore. Tough.
Badge chewer, no thank you
