Q#172
Which region of France does the cheese known as Camambert originate from.

Post by yenilira on Feb 12, 2012 18:32:33 GMT 1
Had it many a time when I've been to Arromanches, Chebourg, Caen, Bayeau, etc. A whitish covered skin cheese akin to Brie which it derives from.
Napoleon had something to do with it.
Answer - Camembert in Normandy.
Calvados is also a good tipple to have with it.

Question # 175 answer is......
that's the year Creedence (Bad Moon Rising) and Jane Birken (Je T'Aime) had No. 1s late on.
wasn't it Rolf Harris with '2 Little Boys'?
Or was it Cliff R. with summat like 'Mistletoe and Wine'? He nearly always had a Christmas hit.

I know Levens Hall near Kendal got the river out of the front Garden,(Kent) but I don't know if this was Lancashire at some point??
Rufford Old Hall also created a dyke to the East, for the river that went west of the estate.
